My Danitube is actually a V2(+), not a V3. So far, it's been extraordinary. I love the clean look & feel (same reason I dug the Semovar), and REALLY like the fact that it's short for an 18650. Here is sits between a WAE II and a Provi Classic, all three in 18650 mode.

That's the reason I LOVE the Dani V2+ so short with an 18650 , the Semovar is a Yard long by comparison.
I have a Kfl tank [after market kit really just one of the steel rings a bit shorter] that has a slightly smaller tank capacity 3cc rather than 4cc makes for a nice compact unit. [shorter drip tip too]
Must get around to sending the tube back to Germany for repair!

I am also an old-school vaper. I love my ProVari P3 Celtic Knot, and I have always used flat top batteries with it. I stretched the spring a bit when I first made the switch from an 18350 battery with a button top to the 18650 flat top, and I have never had problems with it. But if it dies or breaks, I am up a creek. I recently bought an authentic Kayfun mini v3 and am scoping out the Dani Extreme V3. I vape at about 1.5 - 1.8 ohm at only about 8 watts. I just need to not smoke. The flavor is amazing, but I fear I am becoming a dinosaur who will soon not have any options either.

Find a couple of older v2/v2.5's (with the beveled/slanted tops), grab some button top 3000mAh batts from Orbtronics, and you'll be a happily vaping dinosaur for years to come. :)

I actually prefer to use those batteries in the P3s too, as I find that I get slightly better performance than I do with my flat tops.

I found some Provari's available if anyone needs one, prices are not bad either, the Classic and P3 take flat tops. I picked up another P3 for my stash :) Provari Mods – Central Iowa Vapor

We grabbed a couple of Classics from them a month or two back. Great deal, great service, and they even shipped Priority. :thumb:

Wow, nice find. I always wanted a ruby red Mini and they have some in stock. For a minute was tempted to buy one from there, but then remembered there aren't any decent button top 18350 or 18490 batteries any more. I also vape sub-ohm. But that did give me some shinitis

I've been using Trustfire (I know, but...) 18350 button top in my minis for almost five years now. They work fine, and last a long time. I've had two Provari 2 and one 2.5 die, but never any of the five minis. I started out using AW, but they cost a lot more and actually gave up the ghost a lot sooner. A lot of search and rescue folks swear by Trustfire, even if Mooch turns his nose up at them.

BTW, 18500's fit 2.5's just fine.

Thanks for sharing. If I did get a ruby red Mini, it would probably just become a "relic" piece of vape gear, as I'm strictly a DTL sub-ohm vaper now. For the first time ever I'm questioning if a Provari is still worth $100.

Hey Bad - just a heads up on the shiny colored ones. They scratch if you sneeze in their direction. I've got a beautiful purple one here that I refuse to use because of it.

Given your history both here, and with ProVape in general, I'd hate to see you disappointed. You deserve better.

So get a GMZ or Satin Silver (and some 18650s) instead. They'll run the miles for/with you. :D

Thanks for sharing that. I don't know if I need another Provari then. I already have 3 that I don't use.

Two standard 2.5 in blue and purple and a blue P3 that has a bad processor. Had a black 2.5 Mini that my son lost.

OMG!!! Thank you SOO much for this tip! I will grab several of these - I live in Michigan, so most of my vape budget is tied up in stocking up on flavored juice to ride out this ban until I figure out a more long-term option. But I will definitely grab a few of these before I spend the same amount on just one Dicode. These are all I need...these and this chair... these and this chair, and this ash tray....Sorry, dinosaur joke that likely none will get! Thank you again!!!
