I forget. What is the finish on the GMZs? Are they the ZenKoating?

What is this ruby red?

ProVari Mini 2.5 Ruby - Central Iowa Vapor

Ooops. Sorry, Bad. My fingers were too quick....

Si, ZenKote. Gunmetal ZenKote, in this case. They do a gold too.

Yes on the Ruby too. Beautiful, but place it carefully inside a bubble to protect it, and never let it breathe air. Burp too loud and it may scratch (same with the shiny purple, green, & blue). I think those were the only colors of that finish, but I can't say for sure.

So if its such a tough finish, why treat like its butter? It's not making sense. Zen said the only matterial that was harder was a diamond.

Sorry - sometimes I lack clarity (or so @Katdarling tells me). ;)

The two ZenKote finishes (Gold & Gunmetal), you can pretty much do whatever you wish with. They will not be harmed.

The original Satin Silver is also very tough, and I understand that's because they're media blasted.

The Ruby Red, Sangria Purple, (something) Green, and (something) Blue are NOT ZenKote. In fact, they may be the 2nd worse finishes I've ever seen, with only the P4Y IPY line worse. Maybe those two are tied - I'm not sure.

They're not cerakote either (like the Satin Blacks or fades). I don't know what they used. 99 Store nail polish, maybe?

All I know is that they scratch. A clear wrap will do just fine for any who love the colors, but don't want them mucked up.

I don't care for the satin silver sandblasted. Maybe the Gunmetal would do me. Hmmmm. Dang you all.

Not if it's not in your vape wheelhouse anymore, Bad. It's nice (I FREAKING LOVE IT!), but I'd hate to see you waste money.

There is something for every vaper, and plenty to go around. ;)

By the way DPLongo, I think I've lost a FB friend. One posted that all vaping is bad because its harmful for pets. I gave her an angry emoji.

We just can't fix stupid, Bad. Unbelievable.

My pets would disagree with her, just for the record.

I would never smoke or vape around a parrot, because I know their lungs are particularly sensitive to air toxins. A burnt Teflon skillet can kill them instantly. Dogs and cats, probably not.

Geeze Louise. Harsh much? The colored Provis are EXTRAORDINARILY beautiful. (ask me how I know) Yes, they are a BIT more delicate ( ) than the Zenkotes (GMZ and Gold) but they are NOT the fragile little flower you described! Not everyone ummmm..... (burps loudly)

:D

Welp, we'll just leave that for another time. ;)

Ruby Red
Sangria Purple
Emerald Green
Blue Lagoon

I had no IDEA you liked the 99! Andiamo, caro!

Sorry to hear that, Bad. Friends seem to easily "disappear" these days, for one reason or another...

As for pets, the articles that I've seen over the years specifically referred to kitty kats. They seem to be sensitive to PG, and as it seems to linger longer (damm, what a great name for a love song!), and settle onto their fur, they run some risks as they lick their fur.

I'm no expert on this, but it's definitely Duck Duck Go-able.

Occasionally.

I didn't know about the parrots (thanks, @Baditude ) but knew about the kitties (probably from you, KD). I'm low VG, and my juice is very well stored. No problems with cats or dogs here, ever.

I also don't feed it to them.

...it's PG and cats.
It was found that PG in cat food causes Heinz Body Anemia and was removed from cat food.
Vaping...so minimal. If you're worried, don't blow your vapor in your cat's face.

Had a blue and gold macaw and a goffin's cockato. Vaping around them never caused problems and their vet said no big deal either. They did die tho - of old age.
(I smoked cigarettes around the birds forever too...)

I would add that it's wrong to blow anything in the face of any animal.

Unless it involves pepper spray and a bear in the woods.

I did NOT know this, thanks Classy.

Interestingly, my kitty used to sit on my lap and always try to get in front of my exhales. I just kind of figured it might not be a brilliant idea, so I always blew it away from her, but she SO loved the smell.

Go figure.

Or a coyote trying to make din din out of your baby dogger. :grr:

When Merlin was alive and I lit up a smoke he would immediately get up, flip me the tail and leave.
When I vaped he stayed and would sniff...and when I vape banana cream pie he was all up in my face !
