the burbs
...i usually just laugh it off when my husband says that, as he often does. but not today, when he said it while passing through the kitchen, and added, "seriously, you need therapy." :glare:

i thought about how WRONG he was as i threw the burger onto the plate...no, i wasn't eating. i was making hamburgers...actually *making" them -- you know, forming them into patties...yeah, with one hand...while vaping with the other...yeah, not normal...

but the really scary part? -- i didn't even realize i was doing it until he made the comment...wow, i must've gone totally insane...which only goes to prove my point about him being WRONG -- as no amount of therapy is going to help when you're *that* crazy.

ugh....people hahaha. I get the same type of comments from family. Ask him if he'd rather get second hand smoke.

Yeah, I know the feeling.... Hubby is the same way.... "do you EVER put this thing down????" Nope, I rarely do! But the second hand thing doesn't work with him, he's a smoker and refuses to even TRY ecigs...... So, I just shrug it off. But he still gets his kiss. LOL!

Only if I've lost it in which case I'm lost. Well, to be honest, I did drive away from the office today to get my afternoon delight, iced tea, and realized I left it on my desk. I actually got through the entire 8 minutes it took to get the tea and get back to my desk, whew, close one.

Funny a Brit posted after my iced tea story. You can only imagine the looks I encounter "over there" when I ask for ice with my tea! Too funny. I guess ice with anything is funny enough.

Been over here 6 years now and there are a couple of things I have taken too.

Both southern I guess, Sweet Iced Tea and Lemonade, guess this is a south thing as I was in Kansas a month or so ago and asked for it and got a quizzical look. Also BBQ Pulled Pork yummy !

Funny thing is that I am not and have never been anything other than a coffee drinker apart from this recent discovery.

Try unsweetened tea with lemon. Better tasting, better for you, quenches your thirst and NO calories. Oh, and go out on a limb and ask for ice with that! lol

Vinegar, mustard or tomato based sauce for your BBQ? The vinegar and mustard based ones are also southern.

I did find a good BBQ joint in Norwich, strange and seemed out of place, I understand it was a chain of some sort.

The absolute BEST pizza EVER I've had was at San Remos just outside Hahn AB, Germany back in da mid/late 70s! Who woulda thunk... Yes, it was owned by an Italian that understood what we Americans liked.

The best pizza I ever had was in Wiesbaden Germany! I'll always remember that. Strange, huh? Every ingredient was perfect.

OK, as a newbie I'm finding this really scary.

One thing about analogs, they have a time limit. I can smoke 1, or if that's not enough, 2, but 3 just never feels right.

But it sounds like vaping can get to be like that experiment with animals and an electrode in the pleasure/reward center (which may be an urban legend) -- nicotine full-time?

Is there something in analogs that says "we're done" that is missing from e-juice? I want to quit tar but not at the expense of going from puffing 20 analogs a day to puffing 16 hours/day.

Good point. With a cig, you light up and you're held captive for what, 5 minutes? Until you are done. With an e cig there isn't a start or end. I take a hit all day and evening, really ALL the time but it's only a hit here and a hit there. I can take a quick hit then go into the grocery, never pausing at the door to finish my cig because I can pick up where I left off.

I use about 3 ml a day, I know, I measure and I've been told that isn't much at all yet I feel like I can "smoke" all day. I suppose you could say the patch is an "always on" delivery of nic.

I don't know the answer but I know I breath better, sleep better and have lost 20 pounds, go figure. I have no plans of giving it up.
