OMG, the CHILDREN!! BEWARE and be FORE-WARNED! Yet another new, deadly addiction:

Addicted? You truly might be - TODAY.com

(Those poor lab rats. How DARE they test those deadly things on those poor little creatures. I wonder if they can vape? Based on the above research, I gotta believe that everything is an addiction in one way or another. So we are all doomed anyway, no matter what we eat, absorb or inhale. We may as well continue to vape. :vapor: )

My name is Tal, and (cough) im addicted to nicotine. For this I do not apologize, as my government said it was and still is ok.

I have many many addictions, the biggest at the moment is ECF.

I admit being here is constantly on my mind, I just can't get away. Perhaps there is a cure, but more then likely that would be a pipe dream. Oh yeah I'm addicted to dreams as well, man are they cool. Did I say pipe, yep addicted there to.

Children, yep addicted to me daughter.

Well time to go find another addiction, I'm hungry.

Hahahahahaha!!!! :D
Those poor rats - NOT ! ;) My pet rats would LOVE Oreo cookies if I gave them to them.
Hm.... actually, I think I'll buy a package of Oreos, eat some and feed some to my three pet rat boys. Purely for scientific purposes, of course *whistles innocently*.

So much for the effect of warning us against a new, horrible addiction. ROFLOL! :D

 and that guy hasn't touched an Oreo since... (Must have gone back to the other thing that is not as good as lol)

Sin tax studies are full steam ahead. Sugar named 'most addictive and dangerous substance' of our time, worse than cigarettes and alcohol » Banoosh

And according to this article, the FDA is fighting to push the diet drugs out faster now that the big sintax is approaching. Imagine that.
http://banoosh.com/blog/2013/09/05/fda-to-begin-fast-tracking-even-more-dangerous-big-pharma-drugs/

And digging a little deeper on same site, we come across sugar pesticide that causes cancer... Simple Roundup. Eeeeks

Well, I wasn't gonna rain on your parade, but as the subject has already been mentioned.. uhm... this appears ridiculous to us now... just wait a little while though. And take a look at this: Possible lessons from the tobacco experience for obesity control. - And do not forget to notice the word "control".

Of course, the article named in the 1st posting is a bunch of horse manure.

Rats seems to like the cookies about as much as they liked the addictive drugs. When allowed to wander freely, they’d congregate on the Oreo side for about as much time as they would on the drug side.

If given the choice between (tasty, calorie-rich) Oreos and (completely tasteless and low-calorie) rice cakes, any human, rat or whatever would sit on the side of the Oreos. Duh.... To call a natural preference for tasty and calorie-rich food an "addiction" is more that silly. After all, that natural preference has ensured the survival of many species throughout history.

Or maybe such talk is not "silly" at all *thinks dark thoughts*

Let's enjoy our Oreos while we still can.... :2cool:

(And yes, sometimes I wear a tin foil hat ;) With all the FUD crap about vaping that has been spread all over many European media, such headgear has proven quite useful indeed ;) )

Oh, I sooo hope fat and sugar get pursued as addictive substances. It will affect so many more people and make them see just what nut jobs we've been dealing with. I can hear it now: "Do you smoke?" "No." "Do you use nicotine?" "No, but I eat Oreos, is that going to affect my insurance premiums?" "Not yet, but know that they are considered a gateway drug so your premiums might be affected in the future if your lipid profile indicates addiction."
