I think mostly what I'm referring to when I say beta testers is due to the fact that these products are coming out so fast, new, and different and then revisions hit right when you thought you had it figured out. I definitely don't mean it in a derogatory way, I enjoy testing new things.
I also agree, I don't think there's a perfect solution out there, prolly never will be, be we can keep trying and we can choose what we think is best.

For the most part, on anything, what you are going to hear about are the problems. No one is so vocal as an unsatisfied customer. And if you got the dongle think you'll be very pleased. But I will say there is probably no such thing as completely perfect setup all the time. I think you need a setup for different conditions. For me, I like a passthrough (currently the dongle!) with a stardust for at home reclining and reading. Before that I liked the micro stretch because it didn't gurgle a much with a reclined position. I like a passthrough with a vision mini for working at my desk. I like a battery with a vision for wandering around or driving my car, the wire from a passthrough got me in trouble driving.
I tried the fluxos back in Feb. 2010, but they were kind of finicky. I didn't give up on them, but they were not my main atomizer. I tried the vision deux back in October, and I've been hooked ever since. I have all the sizes of the visions (mostly the extremes, now), the stardust, stone, and now the tanks that came with the dongle. While I would not say they are all perfect, I only mean they are all not perfect for ME. Like, I wish the stardust had warmer vapor, I wish the tank didn't draw as easily, etc. but all those are minor issues that don't put me off them at all. Plus, these are the early versions. I'm sure they will only improve as far as becoming specialized towards certain vapors. I think c2 attys are the wave of the future.

I've been using the Fluxo's for several months and they are my go to carto. Cleanest vape and flavor I've experienced so far. The latest version is by far the best CE2 out there. The Vision is a close second, although I've only used the Vision Giant (3.5ml). I'll probably try a the Vision Mini next (2.5ml). I'm always on the look out for a newer/better fillerless carto so I'm not bothered too much if something doesn't meet my specifications. Everyone has different tastes.
