This is an excellent thread on nic storage
Long Term Nic Storage
"I have unthinned VG-nic in well-sealed glass in the freezer that is virtually unchanged after 6.75 years. In plastic, especially LDPE, it will oxidize, even in the freezer."
Interesting link. One I have read a few times. No doubt Glass is the most solid Surface material(also most Brittle)
To Clarify - Author refers to LDPE several times - With no reference to time testing.
*LDPE is the Squeezable Cloudy bottles we purchase many e-liquids in and use in Squonk mods.
LDPE (#4) has an o2 permeability of 2.2
HDPE was not referenced in the Topic.
HDPE (#2) and what All of my Nic received in Plastic was in #2 Bottles
HDPE has a Permeability at 77F of 0.3

While Glass may offer the highest Resistance over long term - 5-10+ yrs., in large quantities it is not cheap and may not be in everyone's budget. A reasonable compromise may be in calculating (X)years use in Original(Unopened) containers and Longer term Supply Transferred to Glass.
I personally do not want to expose Nicotine to Air any more than absolutely necessary and work from 50ml Jars, sealing between use.
For some of us, at the end of the day, it adds up to would I rather have Nic, or Glass?
anyone willing to go 1/2's on 20 32oz Bottles?
