IF the stuff made up till May 2016 was approved it could be sold, It still has to be approved within 2 years under an equivalency thing or something. Not the PMTA part.

I expect a stoppage of all vaping imports for a bit around August while the details are sorted out

and yes we till have to watch the Brit and Canadian reviewers to drool over new stuff we cannot buy.
We have different interpretations. I suspect the rule is they can change the ruless any time the want.

All this mad rushing to preparedness just bugs me. It's right up there with Christmas shopping a year before Christmas.
I'm a last minute'r kin'a girl.
Thats too bad. I have been telling people to prepare for this for the last 10 months.

I hope those that don't prepare like smoking. I wont be one of them

Same way at my work Also. Some of which I help out with eliquid, They were very surprised to find out that service is no longer available.
Yeah, me too. I am now only going to make juice for me and my brother. I am stocked up on devices and just now ordered a couple of RTAs, I got 1 liter of Nic today and 2 more on the way. I am going to get my brother to order a couple of liters too. I just ordered another Beacon for the Vapocolypse box and I may go ahead and get another one for him. My friends and cousins have always gone their own way on vaping so they will have to figure it out, most of them still smoke a little too, so I probably know what they will do.:(

if the electronics gives out in a regulated mod I can easially convert it to a mosfet mech or a VV Hexohm type of mod. The chips hexohm uses are off the shelf std electronics parts not vaping specific.
I also ordered some 510 connectors and battery sleds.
Hammond boxes are not vaping specific either.
Good idea, I would love to build my own HexOhm type mod, In not electrical/mechanically inclined but I'm good with tools and instructions so I can learn;)

I make juice for a couple of friends. I told them both what to buy (2l of NIC each mainly) and gave them directions how to divide, re-bottle and freeze the NIC. If they want me to mix for them, no problem but there will be no more free juice. It isn't the $1.50-$2 per bottle, it's the fact that I wont have an unlimited supply of NIC and don't want to run out. :)

That's my story to. ;);) Keep them wondering. Oh wait I am not planning on Bugging out. Will stay put. I will treat my Ecig supply the same as my weapons. Molan Labe

I have been slowly stock piling for the last several years. I am speeding up the effort now for sure! I DIY my juice and my liquids.
I already DIY and I probably have enough gear to last as long as I intend to vape. The only thing I think i'll stock up on is more nic, got tons, gonna get tons more.

Gear may actually boom for a short while if you think about it, China is going to want to dump as much on us as they can for the next two years. They think volume, not cost per piece. I see a market flood coming on.

same here. I will end up with 5 liters and 2 more if my brother buys some too. probably more than enough for the 2 of us for a lifetime but I'm not going to chance it.

I have 2 litres and will buy 2 more. That is still enough for my wife and I to vape for 20+ years. Beyond that, I will take my chances or lower my NIC.

I wouldn't call every vaper out there that doesn't want to DIY or rebuild an "idiot". I would guess that less than 10% of vapers DIY, so that's a lot of idiots.

People like my wife that work long hours, sit in traffic for a couple hours a day, make dinner and chase around a three year old until almost bedtime might not have the time. She would definitely not have the time to pull out the 100mg NIC, flavourings, syringes, PG/VG, etc. after putting our daughter to bed nor does she want to. She is lucky I make our juice but if I wasn't around, she would pay market price for store bought juice or smoke cigalikes. Not everyone wants to make their own coils and have a freezer full of NIC.

P.s. Vaping is not being outlawed. Things will be tough, but vaping is not going to be illegal any time soon.

I hope you are right.

I think those who choose not to build and DIY will be tge ones screaming the loudest when they can't get coils, mods, attys, or ejuice.

Vaping probably saved my life.vi chose to prepare. They could have done the same but didn't

This has been a slow motion train wreck since I began vaping 4 years ago. Every few months there was an "OMG regulation" scare. I have been slowly stocking up for all of those years.

This also gave me the excuse (or justification) to buy shiny new toys to test and save on the "OMG vapocolypse" shelf. I've learned to make coils and diy. The freezer is also well stocked with nic.

Another liter of nic juice and I'll probably be good for 30-40 years as long as batteries remain available. I'm 64 so I think I've got it covered.

The thing that ticks me off are the idiots who say " but i don't want to rebuild or DIY Juice.' i hope they like smoking.

If they had gotten off their butts and prepared 10 months ago they could have saved a LOT of money.

I saw sales where a liter of 100 mg/ml nicotine for $24.

They didn't prepare and they have to pay the piper.
You know, for many people, just the thought of rebuilding coils & DIY'g is intimidating - that doesn't make them idiots.

And whether you've been warning people for 10 months or 10 years means very little. We are going to do stuff at our own pace- that doesn't mean doing it slower than you is going to send us back to cigarettes.

Lighten up. Contrary to what you may think, we're not a bunch of dopes.

You are likely right but you have to remember that most smokers would still smoke cigarettes if a pack was $20. Some would quit, some would cut down, most would go completely ape$h!t and write nasty letters to their govt reps but people would still do it. Same IMO if a 30ml bottle of typical store bought ejuice was $30-40.

Vaping very likely will save my life as well. I am 47 and smoked since I was 14. I quit a couple of times for a while here and there over the last almost 35 years, but I would be astonished if I ever have another cigarette THiS TIME. No interest at all and no desire/craving. I can't say the same after quitting previously with Zyban, Chantrix and other toxic garbage. I have only vaped for 6 months, but quit smoking cold turkey the day I bougt my first mod (iStick 40/Nauti Mini).

I am more of an opportunist than a sky is falling kinda guy regarding stockpiling though. I am fairly confident that I will still be able to buy most of the stuff I need to make juice and coils moving forward, but am 100% confident that the days of buying litres of 100mg NIC and no sin taxes on premade juice and possibly mods/tanks is about to be a thing of the past. It am stocking up to save money and ensure I don't need to buy gas station cigalikes IF it gets really bad out there.

We are ALL talking out our butts at this point as we don't have a crystal ball and really dont know how this will all shake out and what vaping will look like in 2-3 years, but we can likely agree that the golden days are about to end. :(

I know rebuilding and DIY is intimidating. I will give you that. I was scared the first few times i did it.

I found out that rebuilding and DIY is NOT THAT HARD.

There is NO way in HELL I WOULD GO BACK TO TANKS AND PREMADE COILS THAT SUCK.

If i can rebuild and DIY with 1 1/2 hands.

Sorry but what's their excuse?

I don't have much sympathy for people that have been told this is coming for two years and choose to do nothing about it.

I hope they like cigarettes, BLU, Mark 10, etc.
