I've plenty of nic, will need to buy some more PG/PV and flavor. I have plenty of coils and batteries too.

I guess my main worry is how to best store batteries for the long term. I remember reading that it's best to store them about midway between max and min charge and at ambient temperature. Can someone confirm this?

Just do not use or charge them when you get them.

Not that I think it's nessary but if your going to stock pile mods I would wait till right before the hammer drops. Not that I think it actually will as there is alot of time between now and then. But the tech will advanced and what ever you buy today will be outdated. This can be seen even today with the release of Proteus by gg which is the only real temp control mod. Times have changed alot since I started vaping 6+ years ago and they will change again. Although I have around 60 mods myself haha.

Here's a stupid question on stockpiling nic. If I buy what I normally use-6mg, I have to get a very, very, significant amount, break it into smaller glass bottles, and store it in the freezer, taking out what I use periodically, say every month or so.

But if I get a very high mic, say 48mg, it will last longer due to mixing with plain vg and pg, but how do I store it in the freezer to use for mixing, wouldn't it be too thick to mix if kept in freezer?

I know there is a basic answer to this in plain sight, but it eludes me- can someone enlighten me?

Just pull it out of the freezer and let it warm up before mixing.
I use 100 MG/ml Nic in PG base. Kept in freezer in 120 ml bottles...mostly.
I just pull it out and mix it in my recipe after it warms up for an hour or so.

It does not actually freeze in the freezer, just thicken up.
And in PG it is a bit thinner than in VG.

<--- this guy is stocking up on both VW and mech mods, RDA, RTA, glass, and other hardware.
I just recently got in 200ft to add to my collection of wire I already had on hand.
I also researched and made spreadsheets of places for my DIY liquid and coil building that are not associated with vape companies.
being a 0MG nic for 2 years now, not needing to stockpile nic is a weight off my shoulders.

Why are people concerned about stockpiling batteries and PG/VG and flavorings and stuff like that? NONE of that will be effected by the regulations because NONE of it is sold as ecig related products by the manufacturer. Do you really think the FDA is going to try to regulate replacement batteries for power tools? Or regulated already approved ketosis treatments for cows? Or require you to be 18 to buy ingredients used in baking cakes and cookies? Banning the sale of WIRE? Because obviously no one uses wire for anything else, right?

Completed mods, atomizers, and certainly nicotine solutions will be regulated. There is no doubting that.

But the FDA does not have the authority to regulate products that are designed for and have been used in other markets and industries for decades, with FDA approval I might add. As it so happens PG and VG are already FDA approved and sold in farming supply shops and health stores. The FDA isn't going to try to claim those are suddenly tobacco products. They can't, there is no tobacco in them and they aren't being sold as anything related to vaping. Batteries are batteries, and rechargeable batteries have thousands of uses. There are no batteries being sold that are exclusively designed for vaping, and the FDA isn't about to try to regulate batteries used in toys, powertools, and even cars claiming they are tobacco products. Flavorings have been around since forever and are available in virtually any grocery store. The FDA isn't going to suddenly ban them all. Could you imagine the FDA trying to tell Walmart that it cannot sell LorAnn flavorings for cakes and cookies because 0.001% of their customers may use them in ecigs? How long do you think it would take a major corporation like Walmart to challenge that silliness in court?

Mods, atomizers, and nic. That's all you really need to worry about. Everything else will be available just as they were available before the ecig was ever invented.

Quick question to those that have stocked up extra mods: is it better to rotate through your mods and keep them all going, or should I just leave the extras in the box after testing and cycle through them as mods die?

Mods with internal (built-in) batteries are ill suited for long term storage. Lithium batteries must be kept at a certain charge level throughout the storage period, not too high and not too low. If over time a lithium battery is allowed to over discharge below a certain voltage it's -dead-. Personally, for long term storage, I'd avoid mods with internal batteries.

Mech and regulated mods that use swappable batteries (like 18650s) can remain static (unused) in long term storage for many decades if adequately protected from moisture. Don't store them with batteries installed of course. Plastic cased mods and those with "display" screens or plastic buttons must also be protected from UV (sunlight) and heat. I live in an area with high relative humidity so I seal mine inside Mylar bags with a small desiccant packet and store them in a drawer.

Many use NETS and Flavors Derived From Tobacco Plants(Organic Flavors)
Tobacco is Tobacco, is Tobacco.

I have been watching a Very gradual, yet continual, increase in pricing on the Chinese Market over the past 2 years. Perhaps due to advancing technology or perhaps increasing Profits or offsetting development cost.
Also authentic Chinese mods (like eLeaf Pico) are cheaper in US than at Fasttech.

I agree, those are the three items people need to be concerned about. Also, for those who don't use RBAs, factory coil heads could become a big problem. I personally can't imagine trying to stockpile factory coil heads they're ridiculously expensive, I'd strongly suggest learning how to use RBAs. For most people $20 worth of supplies (Kanthal wire and organic Japanese cotton) will rebuild an RBA for a -lifetime-. Not to mention that resistance wire and organic Japanese cotton won't be regulated by the FDA because their primary use is in/for other much larger industries, they'll -always- be available.

You can get complete Subtank rbas at fasttech.
I've ordered extra RBAs from several sites (myvaporstore, directvapor, etc.), but it's the screws that are the only thing I've had to replace over the last year. You get extra screws when you order an entire STM, but not when you order the RBA as a standalone. Just wouldn't mind having an extra little package of those little screws.
