HMM so Wizard labs gets their nicotine from Big Pharma. the one who makes Nicorette Gum?
Having spoken with John (The Wiz) on several occasions, he sources nic from several locations, India being the most common.

Of all the suppliers I have bought nic from, his came the most professional packaged. I have high confidence in him as a source, however I have found equally good nic for a fraction of his price.

Ohh not saying their nic is not good at all.
But as far as I know only one place in the USA actually makes/extracts nicotine. and it is a recent startup.
Molecule Labs uses their nic in making juice.

Nude nicotine does say their PG/VG is US based but appears to make no such claim about their nicotine.
Their Armor V3 packaging is awesome, I love it, but you pay a steep premium for it. I havent tried their new stuff with ascorbic acid yet.

I'm worried about not being to obtain nic at all. Without a license.
EXACTLY.

That is one of the Govts tricks.

Living in Washington i really needed Everclear but could not legally obtain it because i had NO license they needed. I found Jordan an acupuncturist. It was legal for him to order. I explained to Jordan and demonstrated i had a real need for it so he ordered it for me. Again making the Bureaucrats irrelevant.

I am not sure why people would think that flavorings would go away? Flavour Art, Perfumers Apprentice, Capellas, are all food flavorings that were here long before vaping was around. FDA can't ban food flavorings.

Now there are some specialty flavors that have popped up and advertise that they are specifically for vaping. They will either need to change their advertising or close up shop IMHO

ETA- I have already seen one branch off into candy making supplies ;)

Lucky for me I just happen to have one of those teens that the FDA want to protect in my house. Hey son can you get your nic supplier on the phone? OMG!! I really hate our gov!! This is so ridiculous. War on drugs war on nicotine what's next war on sugar?????
Actually, yes

If you have Netflix then watch "Sugar Coated". About half of the back half includes our very own ANTZ zealot Glantz explaining how the anti-sugar zealots should use his ANTZ playbook to wreak havoc in the food store...

This is exactly what i've been saying, but alot of people just don't get it.Yes,there are some flavors that may not be around, most being the different tobacco type flavors,as those wouldn't really fall into the food flavoring category, but most will not be affected unless like you say, they are marketed for vaping,i am extremely confident that the ones not marketed for vaping will still be widely available through baking/candy making suppliers.

You guys are making me want to try it. I don't add sweetener to mine either.
I USS Rayon and LOVE it.

You wick it differently than cotton. Tge Rayon you want very tight in tge coils. Many report hearing the Rayon squeak.

Wicks like a dream if you thin the tails about 1/2 as thick as in the coil.

Rayon is the way. Japanese cotton is nice but it doesn't last as long as Rayon.
Cotton burns if you dry hit, rayon doesn't.
Sweetner like sucralose only caramelizes on your coil
which is no problem if you roll your own

I use sweetener a lot, usually at least 1-3%

If the Rayon wick gets gunked up put the.
Wick under running water and tge gunk washed out in seconds.

In the Rayon wicking thread one member reported as a test he vaped 110 ml through 1 set of wicks.

Agreed, but the intended use part comes into play if it is bought from a vape oriented company.
Any company with ecig, vapor, etc in their name will likely have issues selling flavorings.

I have vaped 120 ml thru a single coil in an STM with Sally Salon coil cotton wicking. 120 ml is about 7-9 days for me.

for me the Salon coil cotton wicks better than KGD.
I bought a big pkg of KGD last year. Wound up giving it to the wife for her facial use and such.

I legitimately make some of the best handmade truffles on the planet, then dip them in the finest single origin (usually Venezuelan) dark chocolate. Flavorings are the least of my concern. But then again, I dont make Marlboro flavored truffles.......

the salon coil cotton is structured just like the sally rayon. Loose aligned fibers not packed like the pads.
