RIP ever having another authentic Philly Cheesesteak. I'm never setting foot in PA again.
I'll still cut through PA via 81 or Delaware Water Gap when heading south but I'll make sure I have a full tank and a full belly so I don't have to stop and spend in PA.

Well I have been pretty much finished stocking up as of last Christmas. ANything I buy now is either extra insurance or "OOOOO SHINY"

I started my path to vapocalypse prepping 2 weeks after I started vaping (a bit more than 3 years ago). I got lucky though I stumbled on REO's early and learned to build coils and make my own liquid. SO mechs and drippers do not frighten me. I have a fair stock of tanks but when they go in time I will be fine.

Sometimes it helps to be an old lady. Sometimes it is hilarious. Walking into a vape shop with a kid in there blowing clouds with my REO and grey hair and watching the look on his face when he figures out I know what I am doing is PRICELESS. ;)

I know how old you are, child. ;) But yeah, if you're over 30, your a freakin' old-timer in a vape shop.

We quit on the same day, joined around the same time. Man we got hammered about what was to come and advised (in no uncertain terms) to stock up. I will be eternally grateful to those folks who beat the living tar out of us. Haven't heard from those who said it would never come to this, even though it's worse than predicted, since the deeming came out. Hope they are stocking up too.

I may end up taking a drive with all of my possessions across the country this fall... It's going to be an interesting route that's for sure. Ugh as if driving across the country solo isn't hard enough without having to extend the distance to ensure you arrive with all of your possessions.

Just don't speed, have car trouble or a flat tire.....and(I hate to say it) eat only at drive throughs. And if you see a 'state' boy --let them pass you by and for heaven's sake don't vape while they are passing....lol

Instead of trying to match the mod match the tank you are using on it. That way it looks like an extension of the tank and it will set flush with it. The adapters won't do that and will look funny. The heat sinks should not change the resistance but slightly and they look nicer.
$1.95 510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers - stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$4.46 510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers (5-Pack) 5-pack - aluminum / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
They show the outside of the diameter as being 22mm and these fit the ST.
    :)

    w00t! Thanks!!!

I ended up ordering 500' of 34, 28, and 26g kanthal. I've got 3L on Nic. Also have some BF attys coming. I'll probably end up buying some more Nic from my local B&M before they end up having to close (because of the PA tax law). I might also pick up another Griffin or Herakles RTA...or both. Dunno. I've got 4 kayfuns. Might also pick up a couple of toptanks and some build decks. We'll see. Hafta check the wallet first. lol

I have about a dozen SS atomizers stocked up. All the recent ones were bought selectively on sale from $2 to $15. I have several Kayfun versions, 2 and 3 each, a couple of Squape models, Lemo, Orchid and various others.

I've bought VV/WW/TC mods as they appear on sale. I have half a dozen 30' rolls of wire in kanthal, nichrome, titanium, and stainless 316L. All of the wire has other uses in industry. Kanthal and nichrome are used in toasters and hair dryers. SS is used in flower arranging and tying steel together. Titanium wire is used in the aerospace industry, cleaning brushes, dental prosthetics, and surgery. All the wires can be found on Amazon in 30' and 100' rolls from companies like Temco.

Lithium 18650 cells are used in laptop batteries, LED flashlights, power tools, and a number of other devices other than ecigs.

All we have to be concerned with is anything that is only used in vaping. That would be pharmaceutical grade nicotine and the various devices used to vape juice, IMO.

They all said they likely won't survive, so I'm not going to post until they say they are definitely done as of whatever dates.

Eta: I'll see if I can find the local news story that interviewed a shop about the possibility of closing.

Eta: Here's the link for the article:

I'm really busy with work and that mythical place called "the real world" so mostly at around 1AM I place another 4 orders I don't actually need at this point, and they show up, but I forget about the 5 other orders from yesterday, and 15 from last week, and at this point it just looks like a B&M exploded inside my home office and half the rooms in my house. My SO who doesn't smoke or vape is super-happy obviously. I've tested out absolutely nothing, and just kinda pop open the boxes, count that they sent me the right # of the right things, and pile it back into the box, to deal with later.

Preparing for Life in the Bunker is exhausting. We should all file a lawsuit vs. the FDA for emotional damages, time wasted, and stress. Just sayin'

Eh, OTOH I'll have lotsa trinkets to trade in the post-apocalyptic landscape of FDA's AmerikKka.

    My stockpile:
    Mods:
    2 Vamos
1 one year old iStick 30 clone (yes, will die in a year or earlier).
    1 Kamry 30
    1 Sigelei 30
    2 Pico
    1 eVic VTwo Mini 75

    Toppers:
    2 iClear 16 + 10 coils
4 clearos which are using old protank coils, 20 coils, could be rebuilt 5-10 times
1 Aerotank, 5 coils, mostly useless, but coils could be rebuilt
1 Fogger V4 (hate it, but as a last resort - usable)
    1 Melo 3 - absolutely useless
    1 Serpent mini - usable
2 Kayfun V4 clone, nice, hope they will live for a long time.
1 Taifun GT-T2 clone, nice, will work long time
1 Kayfun V5 clone, still on its way. Hope I like it.

Almost finished. If I really like Kayfun 5, I may buy one more clone.
$20 on spare parts and some wire.
That's it. I am sure I can survive for at least 10 years.

    EDIT: missed a few things
    Mod - Vamo box 25W (18350 mod)
Tanks - Subtank and Kayfun mini 3 (both so-so, but usable).

    I did see this in the Deals and Steals thread;

Very sad news today (7/14/2016) :'( UltimateVapeDeals.com is GOING OUT OF BUSINESS.
Unfortunately today Pennsylvania has signed into law a 40% Wholesale tax. Because of this UltimateVapeDeals.com can no longer exist.

It's a little difficult to know. There are many styles.

What I am going to do is to buy calipers and measure some of the 510s and see what they measure out at, then order the parts for those few I am unsure of. (This comment has to do with Sigelei 213s (have 2) and Sigelei Fuchai 213s (have 4). I have 6 total and the 510s are very small looking.

I'll probably end up with 6 to 10 - RX200S mods, and I am going to replace the 510's on them as they need it. They are faulty 510s, so I'll be buying 3 - 510s for each of those mods.

You've hit on a subject I never thought I would find. The 510 heat sink is used to disburse heat from the addy. Even if it may take a few seconds longer for a hit. I have the 213, 213 Fuchai, 3 rx20 and several others that I haven't opened yet. Apparently it is advisable to buy 510's heat sinks for these these mods? For what reason are you ordering so many, Tommy?

However, you've peaked my interest regarding the 510 pin. Are there parts out there to fix a faulty 510 spring loaded connector? I have a MVP 3.0 that has a sunken 510 connector and will no longer read anything I put on it. I tried lifting it up gently with an eyeglass screwdriver to no avail. I'm bummed since the battery life on it is amazing and would like to continue using it on occasion for vaping. Otherwise I'll just have to keep it as a battery source. My calipers fit 22mm on most of my open mods. I don't think I have a tank smaller than 22mm

Oh wait! I just found a video that looks like the 510 heat sink center pin could be adjusted to (hopefully) extend to meet the recessed pin on the MVP 3.0. Good video. Am I wrong?

I'm thinking that with the new FDA Deeming regulations costs will go up as availability goes down. I do not know which manufacturers will submit for a waiver from the FDA called a PMTA. Fewer manufacturers, fewer e-liquid manufacturers, fewer manufacturers of liquid nicotine base will mean an increase in costs.

    My stockpile:

Hey Alien. So, you have mods and tanks that are so-so? Don't you want to get at least 3 that have been proven to be truly reliable? Same with your tanks.

I've spent nearly $3,000.00 on all authentic (not all of the mechs) duplicate mods, duplicate tanks, RDA's, at least 5pks of replacement coils per tank, 2,500 premade kanthol coils, 100 premade twisted kanthal coils (going to order about another 200-400 different designed clapton), 800ft of wire, a lb of cotton, 27 18650s (all married except for the ones for the single mods), and just under 5,000ml of different juice. Not to mention the liters of DIY I will be ordering tonight. I also have all kinds of tools and a backup set of the good ones.

I also bought some starter kits. I'm really liking the flavor and cloud production of the Kanger SubVod. I find it quite satisfying actually. I have the pink, just received a white one and I think I'll get another. You can DL that with open air flow and chuck a surprisingly good cloud with it. I'll MTL with a higher coil and restricted airflow. I'm trying to go with while, it will look like an analog if I'm out in the smoking section of a restaurant or bar. (Gawd. I haven't been to a bar in years)

If I like what I see in reviews, I buy it. There is no price on saving my life. I refuse to go back to another 45 years of smoking with COPD - if I live that long.
