Hi ya.
Totally new at this but i think i'm sold!

Been smoking for the past 35 years and i took my very first puff/vap (thanks to a vap friend who insist i at least give it a try), one puff was all it takes.
The very night, i ordered myself a kit for me and my girl.
4 days later, kit arrived and i have had not a single cigarette then....it's been almost 3 weeks.

I'm ready for the next level now but there's just too much terminology and might take a while before i completely understand.
Not looking to be spoon feed but just need some directions what kind of e-cig i should be looking at.

This is what i have now,
V2 Ultimate Kit from v2cigs.

This is what i'm looking for,
1)refillable
2)longer lasting battery
3)min maintenance
4)cost should not be an issue as long as i'ts not gonna cost me a mortgage payment .

Like i mentioned, not looking to be spoon feed, just need to know what i should be researching.
Thanks in advance.

I started with V2 as well and stopped the cigs the day I took my first vape. With a week of research and help here I ordered two Twists and some Nova Minis. That is my current setup 4 months later and I love it! I have the 1000mAh Twists and they last all day with my pretty heavy vaping. I generally go through 5 -6 ml of juice each day. The Twist lasts long and the Novas are easy to refill.

Of course we are all different but this has worked for me for quite a while. I am going to splurge and order myself a ProVari right after Christmas.

Since you have V2's, I'll suggest other 808 equipment.

If you want longer battery life, check out the X2 line by Smokeless Image. These are vGo batteries, which means they're eGos with 808 threads. They're all also pass thrus, so you can use them while they're charging.

If you want variable voltage, like the Twist or Spinner, check out the iGo Revolver by Nhaler or the Dial-a-Volt by V4L.

Nhaler also has the Crystal Vision tank, a mini nova clone for 808s. I haven't tried it yet, but I just wanted to mention it.

Good luck!

Welcome to ecf and congrats on giving up cigs! There are tons of choices out there and you will be given tons of recommendations. An ego twist with a vivi Nova tanks seems to be a very popular entry level setup. I bypassed the entry level gear and went straight to a reo grand which is a bottom feeder. 100% mechanical. No electronics to fail. It's rock solid! If you want a device that works flawlessly and let's you vape your face off. You may want to look into them.

Nice work. I think the best way to go is get a 5v passthrough, a 2 amp USB adapter and some 3.0 ohm tanks when your at home or car. It plugs directly into the wall and you can vape all day with a tank on it. The adapter is essential if you go this route. For mobile I went with a reo grand which sounds exactly like what your looking for. It's very well made and feels tougher than nails. I am running aw 18650 imr battery in it. Once you get the hang of squeezing the juice in the atomizer its perfect. Huge juice tank in the bottom and a big battery. Good luck

What they all said before. But if you whant to get the best kit, juice, or accessories right off of the bat, AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. Be thankfull you found this forum early on in your vapin' journey. Read everything in this forum and you will be Vape literate enough to make sound decisions and save money on those things and hopefuuly be satisfied enough to carry on. Ok enough of the negativity but DO read evrything. You are more likely to get a realistic review on the forum than on the vendors site. Good luck to you. I dropped smokes after the first vape I took and have never felt better.

congrats on quitting i smoked for over 20 years myself,if you want less hassle and maintenance i would go with some Ego battery's with a mini vivi nova or stardust( HERE is a great starter kit ). or if you want more options and a even better experience get a Zmax with a full vivi nova and find some good juice from any of the many great vendors online

Welcome to ECF

yea one of the most common step up kits is the EGO twist or vision spinner battery,
and a cartomizer like the vivi nova. the vivi isnt perfect for flavor mut it works amazingly well with little problems, and can be taken apart and cleaned.

A good twist kit can be had for less then the V2 ultimate kit and will be way more satisfying and cost effective.

if you like the idea of the cartridge that came with the V2 they are referred to as carts and you can buy them empty, fill them yourself and use them till they die (couple of weeks)

the vivi nova is a class called clearomizer and they make several good ones and many not so good ones. the CE2 or kanger T2 is a good one.

keep asking questions and never fear about asking too much, thats why we are all here. good luck in your new adventure!!

My first kit was the V2 ultimate kit. As soon as I figured out this could work I moved up to a kgo and refillable cartridges. Today for the next step I would recommend a vision spinner at 1300mah and a vivi nova tank. I don't care much for the mini but love the mega, easy to clean fill and vape. Just make sure they are vision and not knockoffs. Knockoffs are not bad on a lot of things but with the nova you have to be careful.

I want to thank everyone for their contribution, i really appreciate it!

After some researching, i think i have a rough idea what i'm getting but not without a few questions....

Battery
Ego-C Twist x2 (650mAh black rubber finish)

A little confuse with tank setup like "clearomizer", "Cartomizer", "Atomizer"...
As far as CE2 style tank/clearomizer/cartomizer/atomizer, it looks a little low capacity for me but my girl would probably love it for it's sleek design.

congrats! i did too start off with V2cigs. i upgrade to a ego twist and a vivi nova. another thing you might want is an atomizer to help you
taste all the different juice before putting in the vivi nova to help save time.
By that you mean i'll need a ego twist, vivi nova and an atomizer?
I always thought a set up consist of a battery, tank and juice .

Oh, pretty sure i'm not gonna go with one that need to drip or use a syringe. I'm just too blind and clumsy for it.

The Twist/Spinner with a Mini Nova is a great choice for learing the ins & outs of vaping. You can play with different voltages and different resistances, and actually experience the differences they will make in the quality of the vape with that setup. Learning what resistance goes with what voltage (measured in watts) produces the result that you like is the foundation for making whatever PV you ultamatily choose to use work the way you want.

having an atomizer separate is useful for taste testing when you DIY liquids, you don't need one, you just might find eventually it would be useful to have, it doesn't have to be an expensive one, if you are buying a Ego twist any small atomizer with a 510 fitting and a cheap drip tip will do for testing purposes :D
Don't need one is good.....won't be doing any diy liquid for now.
