So in your opinion the orion is better than the Zen? Darn i just ordered a Zen, i shoud`ve waited!

Yes that is my opinion. Does that mean the Zen is a bad device? No. But the Zenesis is not my first choice. I think the design is not "complete" there are alot of things the Zenesis doesn't have IMO to support the $250 price. I mean there is no locking switch, the top cap is not very secure, there seems to always been a "bad batch" that need various fixes to be released. This is just my personal experiance with the devices, others may have had a better experiance than me, but when spending $250+ for a mod its not a "chance" I want to take "hoping" I done get a lemon that has to wait for a fox to be released or sent back to be fixed. :rant over:

I know right. I was expecting to get minimal flavor with a larger hole for the orion. But instead, the orion slapped me in the face. Full flavor from then on. Lol

Yes because even with a 1/16" air hole, the draw seems tighter than a zen, and I think that has to do with the chamber being smaller

get both.
I have a zen standard and orion 2.1
I like the orion better for all day but I now have pluid in the zen which stays at home and I vape it during the evening
I still like everything about the orion but not everything about the zen.
the zen is still a great device just has its limitations in my opinion

and I completely agree with shooter on the little things about the zen
you can't put it in your pocket because either the thing will fire off or the cap will come off and thats no fun.
with the orion there is no real worry of that because the switch is not as easy to press and the cap is screwed on.
key features for me

Hello everyone. Just received my orion v2.1 from the classies, and i have to say that this things is tiny, and packs a punch. Running a 50mm solid wick with a 7/6 wrap of 28AWG kanthal A1, and this thing is a flavor/vapor monster. I was contemplating on boring out the air inlet, but have decided to keep it stock, to enjoy it the way it was meant to vape by nosmoker.

I found, at least on the ZAP, that the air hole was WAY TO LOW. I had to have the cap barely on the oring to get a decent amount of vapor. The flavor I believe is muted due to chamber size as well.

Vaping like tastes is highly personalized. I've vaped the same tobacco all day for 1.5 years. I think my palet is pretty sensitive. I've own(ed) 2 Orion's with modded intakes. There is a significant loss of flavor I find unacceptable. I crave intense flavor over all else. With the capability of the Orion, I have been able to reduce the flavoring in my mix by 50%. That's a huge side benefit IMO.

I always recommend trying an old 10ml juice bottle before you commit to a drill. ;-) In my year search for a comparable device, I believe the size and configuration of the atomizer chamber can predict flavor production.

Quick question. Well im still trying to adjust to the draw of this device. Any tips on how to take a draw on it? slow, and long, fast, and quick etc.

With a twisted coil (.17mm) I take short hard draws. Running single wire I have to draw longer. Experiment & have fun. :)

Will do. Im finding that slow and long is what Im preferring.

I have a bottle of pluid and haven't filled up my orion with it yet. I have a plastic tank. Should I not? Why? Is it a tank cracker?

Mine came with a quartz tank so it isn't an issue. I would wait on others to chime in before taking the risk.
