I don't think I will end up going back to my provari w/ carto tank or my Reo. Will most likely end up selling those now, LOL.
Hey Orion peeps.
i just did a video on removing and reinstalling the switch on the V2.1
Orion V2.1 rebuild
may help some of you may not.
also a slight review on it
I actually threaded it down another turn or so after I got it up and running better. While Les doesn't recommend people taking them apart unless need be, I'm sure this will help people out who need to replace the switch. As you said, the silicone tube is lubed w/ vaseline. Also w/ the nut on the positive post, it was mentioned that a couple threads showing is best, especially for those experiencing the dreaded top hot spot.
As for the other post on scratches; I'm OCD and HATE scratches but I find, like guitars and cars, you can't fight them. If you use 'em they'll get wear! Take reasonable care of them, yes, but sometimes the more careful I am the more chance I have to scratch them...lol
Here's an odd topic, how do yall feel about scratches/dings/ect. on your orion, do you fret over it, or look at it as it adds character? Kind of an odd question but I heard a few people talking about this topic at a vape meet
