Finally got the Orion working right! Filled with Pluid, flavor, vapor, and throat hit, all good to go! Best I had so far. This Orion V2.1 is my first genesis hybrid, and it did not fail me. I bought the ihybrid today as a back-up, hopefully ihybrid won't let me down. Also, I don't think I will end up going back to my provari w/ carto tank or my Reo. Will most likely end up selling those now, LOL.

I bought a Z-Atty-Pro at about the same time I got my Orion. Don't get rid of your Provari too quickly until you've tried some of the other genesis-style atomizers.
While my Orion is in the #1 spot, the ZAP & Provari Mini combo is a very close second for me. I would be very sad if I didn't have it as a backup.

Hey Orion peeps.
i just did a video on removing and reinstalling the switch on the V2.1
Orion V2.1 rebuild

may help some of you may not.
also a slight review on it

While Les doesn't recommend people taking them apart unless need be, I'm sure this will help people out who need to replace the switch. As you said, the silicone tube is lubed w/ vaseline. Also w/ the nut on the positive post, it was mentioned that a couple threads showing is best, especially for those experiencing the dreaded top hot spot.

As for the other post on scratches; I'm OCD and HATE scratches but I find, like guitars and cars, you can't fight them. If you use 'em they'll get wear! Take reasonable care of them, yes, but sometimes the more careful I am the more chance I have to scratch them...lol

Yea i have 2 orions both were flawless untill today, I was in my car one was in my cup holder, the other in my lap. When I went to get out.of my car I forgot it was in my lap...and..bam! Straight to the concrete shattered my favorit trippy tip, and dinged up my drip tip cap and the bottem of the Orion, I would also say im OCD when it comes to my mods, but if you use it, something is bound to happen I guess.

I actually threaded it down another turn or so after I got it up and running better.
I agree they should not be taken apart unless you need to do something to them.
I was looking at a picture thread about it on the wall and the pics were small and didn't make much sense so I figured a video was a good idea.
plus I like to see how stuff works (car guy).

I am also one to try and take care of something that cost me nearly 300 bucks but now that I don't think I will resell I will just enjoy it and worst comes to worse I can always beadblast it back to uniform finish

Here's an odd topic, how do yall feel about scratches/dings/ect. on your orion, do you fret over it, or look at it as it adds character? Kind of an odd question but I heard a few people talking about this topic at a vape meet

I do not have OCD, but if happens, it happens... Mine fell flat a couple of times. Curse and swear in the initial stage. After awhile it's just "Dang." Pick it up.
