I contacted nosmoker at ukvapers.org and explained about my switch and tank and this is what he had to say:

Why would i want to lie for such things? i'm not sure... And asked me to contact palipoe . I understand that he can only be contacted at vaporwall? They are taking forever to accept me there... why do they have to make it so difficult to contact each of them? Now until i get accepted i just have to wait to contact palipoe to order a switch and this sucks. I wished they had a much better way to order parts or contact them in a much convenient way. Now i'm thinking maybe i should have bought some other pv with much better customer service.

Your beat bet would be to PM kcos here on ecf as she is a mod on vaporwall and ask her about getting your account activated, as for the switch; pailpoe makes the switches for les (nosmoker) so he would be the best person to contact. And as he and others have recomended for the tank IBTanked has them.

Edit-I wouldnt say its their fault that getting accepted at VW takes forever. I and others have had to PM kcos or get someone on VW to PM a mod to get their handle acceped. As soon as your able to pM pailpoe im sure he will help ya out, Les would have gladly sold you a switch had he has extras but he just finished the latest batch of orions so its expected for him to not have any

I know Nosmoker only has a few spare switches for himself, so Palipoe is the one you need to contact for those anyway

FWIW, I contacted Pailpoe @ VW (but I've been a member over there for quite a while) by PM re purchasing extra switches & he responded within hours, so I now have extra switch headed my way for 15 Euros. Also ordered 510 top cap from bograt @ VP. International vape mail all over the place coming my way. Yay!

I'd suggest re-trying vaporwall. When I signed up after a few days without a response I resubmitted a few times then contacted an administrator & the next day I was in. I read somewhere that if you paypal Palipo (sp? botch!) the exact amount he charges for the switch along with an email to his same address he'd just mail it out without the need for joining VW. So, if anyone who's ordered one from him could hook you up with his email you'll be set without waiting for VW admins.

I am now officially an Orion owner! Sorry.. but I did have to drill my air-hole to 1/16th Running 30 awg kanthal on 400 mesh. I do have one question though. Does this mod regulate the voltage to 4 volts? I heard that somewhere and there are to many posts to read through!
Hey guys I finally got my orion 2.1 in the mail today! I must say im impressed with the overall build quality and the size on this one... the pictures you see on the web really dont do justice to this beauty!
I have been playing with the coils all night. I started with 3/4 wraps of 28awg on 500mesh. That was running too low and i soon learned i needed 5 or 6 wraps of 28awg to make it work correctly.. its just to hard.
So i went ahead and tried 3/4 wraps of 32 awg on a fresh mesh. I got a top coild hotspot but got rid of it soon by fiddling with the coils. It was lighting up beautifully before i filled up my tank.
Even though it seems to be running ok, whenever i put my cap on it and vape on it i get an overall weak vape. I am planning on boring the airhole out to 1/16 first thing tommorow.. but still i dont think i should be getting such weak vapor on stock.
My airhole is perfectly aligned with my wick using the extra o-ring.
This is my first genesis setup, but I am noticing that it is burning though the juice quite fast. (Ive been holding the button down to see it perform but still).
Also Sometimes when I fire it for about 4-5 secs the top coil gets red hot, but i thought maybe this is normal since the top coil dries faster? My wick seems to be wicking pretty good.
This is my first day with a genesis and i know i have a long way to go! Im excited and cant wait to improve my vaping. thx guys!

Hi i'm just curious , have you per-oxidize your SS mesh? looks like it's not from the pic. I'm a noob as well but am just curious.
@slapaho3, though hard to tell, the coil looks like it may be a little tight on the wick, especially on the top wrap. Typically people have issues here when wrapping it and the pulling wire through the washers on the positive post on the Orions. Also, looks to be fraying at the top of the wick. Hopefully that is not touching your topcap when it is on.
I highly recommend using a screwdriver or drill bit that is appropriate size for wick hole (I use a 2mm) to make your coil and as a solid foundation for the coil while connecting it to the orion. Then remove the drill bit/screwdriver and fire the coil quickly a few times. Then roll the wick so as it will slide into the coil. Also, a high and tight coil will make a difference on vapor production with the stock cap. Think someone posted a pic earlier in this thread.
Look up Petar K method. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-unoxidized-hot-spot-free-cleanable-coil.html I basically apply this to my Orion builds, but I torch my mesh, then roll a wick (referred to as the "Jack Frost" method), sometimes solid, sometimes hollow with needle hole, depending on what I plan to vape in it.
Also, don't over do your dry burns etc... Do a setup, then check for all coil glows. Keep the dry burn short. If it is OK, then fill and vape.
