@ 'slapho': Does the top coil still glow when you hold it horizontal and push the button?

@ 'godspeed': Try raising the negative connection w/ (2) M2 nuts. That brings the coil closer to the airhole. Either that or sand your tank down. The first option is easier. That will increase your vapor w/o drilling the hole out and loosing flavor.

does the nut need to be stainless steel?

Ideally yes, there's a lot of condensation under the hood. Wouldn't want rust.

Ok thank you, i'll try to find that screw in my local hardware shop and see how things go. I'm also going to try the twisted coil method to see how it vapes... WIll be using a nichrome 32 gauge wire. Can i use the same wrap that i do normally at 3/2 or a 4/3 would be better? Thanks

I'd also get a slightly longer 2mm screw, maybe around 6mm long. As for twisting; by doing so you're cutting the resistance down by half, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, to get the same resistance of a single wrap, you'd have to double that if using the same wire as your single.

What size is the stock screw m2 by 5mm?

I had a problem last night though.. I put the battery positive side up by mistake and let it fire for about 15-20 min.

When i picked it up to vape it i burned my fingers but i managed to take the battery out and let it cool.

It seems to be working nice as you can see in the video, but today i noticed i have to put more pressure on the button to get it to fire.

Could this mean my switch was damaged?

I would get on vaporwall and get a switch ordered ASAP

I know I am a little late to the party but I have had great vapor and flavor out of my orion with the stock air hole and a 4/3 wrap of twisted kanthal A1 on 500 mesh...
I have some videos posted at E-Cigarette Review's, Tips, and Tricks | Crash Vapes on both the orion and iHybrid side by side.

Little trick for that top coil is to kinda pinch it into the mesh.

can i use the nickrome 32 gauge wire as coil for the orion? i wanna try out the twisted coil method to see how it vapes and i normally do a 3/2 wrap. So could i follow the same wrap for a twisted coil? thanks

you'll have more wraps because your resistance is doubled... twisted 32 is like using a single wire that is twice as thick as 32g, between 26g and 27g.... Twisted 32 is all I use on my iHy.... ~1.6ohms on 4/3 wrap

Ok so far i am trying the twisted coil with the nickrome 32 with 4/3 warps and flavour and throat hit is great and decent amount of favour. But on my lavatube using the Joye 510 Atomizer i have lesser flavour and throat hit but thick dense favour. So i'm just wondering why on the orion for me the vapour is lesser compared to the LT. Am also using same juice for both too...
