Check your wick with a multimeter. It should read 1 when putting both probes on the wick at different spots.
I dont have a multimeter with me now, Now i wished i had one. Could something be wrong with the mesh?

Really should have a multimeter. A must have for genesis users. ;-)
yes i will be getting it soon after what i'm going thru now... I spoke too soon earlier. Till now i keep getting a hot spot at the top of the coil and it breaks/pops . i have done this about 10 times now and about to give up soon... something is just not right but i'm not sure what it is...
Ok i tried the old mesh i have left just enough to make my last piece... it's working now ... the new mesh does not work . I really don't understand why it did not work... i have to wait another 2 weeks if i were to order again..
Try to get the top of the wick as close to the positive post as possible without touching it.
it still has the hot spots...![]()
nice catch. On an unrelated note. My buddy just got a bunch of orings. 9mm ID with a 1.5mm cross section and they are too small to seal to the tank. I remember reading in this thread that was the size of the tank orings.
One. Im glad I haven't placed the orion co-op purchase yet.
Two. Im going to take my orings off when I get home and put some calipers to them.
Three. Ill report back.
Sent from my Samsung S III running on SS mesh and kanthal.
Errr. Sorry I don't get it. What do you mean?Very small droplets are one thing. Wishing the deck had a drain for liquid to return to the tank is another. ;-)
Have you tightened the positive pole nut?
can someone teach me how to use this multimeter? i went and bought one just a while ago but it does not have any instructions and i don't know where to place them to get a reading the coil/ohm readings. All i know is that the black wire goes to the COM hole.Don't even know where to put the red wire into...
