I've never subtracted anything when using my multimeter. Is that how you figure you're calibrating it or something?

To get an accurate ohm reading, check lead resistance and subtract. For example, mine have a resistance of .9 so an ohm coil reading of 2.4 is actually 1.5ohm.

Also most meters have a "relative" button that you can press to zero or the internal or lead resistance

Check resistance. Sounds like it has changed and that is normal after extended use.

Its reading 1.1ohms. Its performing great just my juice is getting dark as heck

I have a couple of therories on darkening juice as I used to experience it also.

Resistance is too high, allowing unatomized (but warmed) liquid to drain back.
Resistance is too low or short, overheating the wick and oxidizing liquid in tank.

I've noticed the solid wicks can become a heat sink too.

Does the finish match the original?

Actually, no it didn't (but I knew this getting it). Sotong makes a polished and brushed. My Orion 2.1 looks as if it was polished then hit with a scrub pad to matte the finish. All the other Orion 2.1s I have seen are more matte then mine. So I bought a polished and then hit it with a green scrub pad, and now it matches.

The new batch from 310 fixed this problem! Wick hole are lined up with the switch!

Quick answer is no, But I know exactly where you are coming from. I had the same issue. If the holes were placed in-line with the button it would be better.

Defiantly, my wick hole is dead nuts inline w/ the button.

Man there is a wealth of knowledge on this thread; Cracked's Co-Op and a line on fused quarts tanks. emonty dropped the info on repentance switches a while back.

Kinda wondering about a modding the air hole or getting a second top cap to mod, but to be honest, I'm enjoying this thing way too much to mess with it right now.

Hi all, how's it going? Can't wait for my Orion, should be here tomorrow. Currently on page 132, saw the twisted coil method and decided to try it. O boy, it is just amazing!!!!

Btw, I used it on my ZAP, A1-32, 4 WRAPS, 1.2 OHM, 3.9 VOLT, 12.65 WATT.
Even at 70% PG, it gives tons of vapes as well as tremendous mouthwatering flavor; yum!!! (2-3 secs pull)

Hi everyone! I have been working on a spreadsheet of links that I originally started compiling to help me locate important posts that I may want to refer to later. In the process, I began talking with Lorderos33. Long story short, since I was combing through some of the threads for information, and Lorderos was needing to pull his "How-To's" and "Tips & Tricks" into some kind of organized location...well, I just put it all on one convenient spreadsheet!

The site is still "Under Construction" (so to speak). There are, no doubt, important posts that I haven't included yet or am not aware of. And, there are also posts that will eventually be deleted. Lorderos will be reviewing the sheet periodically to make comments, corrections and clarifications. But, for now, I asked him if I could allow you folks to view it and offer any feedback or suggestions you may have.

Please don't let it intimidate you. When you go to the site below.....you will see a button to the top right corner that says "1 other viewer" (or 2, 3, etc). If you click on that...a chat column will appear to right. You can chat with each other or with me. And if you want, I will even meet you there for a quick "tutorial". If you sign in with a Google (gmail) or Facebook account, your actual account name should show up, otherwise, you will be "anonymous".

I would be grateful for any suggestions, ideas or feedback. These posts are 99% from our good friend, Lorderos33. All I've done is put them into groups and make them accessible (we thank you Lorderos )

All orions ship with a oring for the top cap to allign the air hole I dont beleive this changed for the last run

The last run came with the slim oring, however the 21mm tank that came on my friends new orion lined up perfectly without the oring because of the new alignment of the switch and wick holes.
