Lorderos,

So nice to 'see' you!

Thanks for the vote of confidence & all the help you've given me by PM in the past.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY like my Orion v 2.1 so far. Too early to say how I'll feel long-term. It's my first non-Zen genny & I'm looking to venture out even farther, budget restraints notwithstanding. On the list for a Caravela. But what to put on top of it is they real key, I know. Hoping Pedro's atty will be available soon, otherwise I'm not sure which RBA will do it justice.

Course I could hold out for the Orion v 3. But variety, is indeed, the spice....

Yes, it definitely is :) Be careful though or you'll end up with a collection like mine, lol.

Giggle,

I'll never catch up with you, lorderos, never. But not for lack of desire. Just bought a SS Don (been wanting one forever) & a ZAU. Been going a little crazy for someone with no money. It does become not just a hobby, but an obsession. For me, as well as many others.

Back on topic - my Orion v 2.1 rocks. Every day we get to know & love each other a little more....

Guys i noticed that my coils are getting black with gunk(if that's what it's called) on my wraps. Do i need to clean them or i can just leave them till my coils pop? Will there be any difference on the vapor and flavour? i dont want to ruin a good set up ;) thanks

I'll occasionally give mine a quick couple swipes with a soft toothbrush.

So I have been trying for days now and I just can't get my orion to wick properly. I've tried straw wicks, thick solid wicks, everything. I've used 400 and 500 mesh ranging from 35mm wide to 75mm solid wicks and it just won't keep up with the coil. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my wicking down?

i'm having my wick hole drilled out to 3mm...never got it wicking well enough with a sub 1.2 ohm coil...

Sorry to ....-in guys, but just got mine couple days ago. And the bottom tank o-ring leaks like Niagra Falls. Itried swapping it out with the top one and the spare ones, but still does it. Any recommended store that I can get better ones? If there are color options that would be even better.

Thanks in advance!
