buy a better hybrid?

Very well thought suggestion and thanks but I love the orion, fantastic flavor, stealthy, great draw.

Can anyone tell me why is there a popping sound when i vape for like 3-4 secs? is it time to change wicks? Thanks

I assume that it wicks too good and the juice doesn't evaporate fast enough and just boiling it causing the popping sound. Try not to tilt too much and see if it works.

Makes me wonder what you stand to gain by trolling on this thread.

Not trolling, the orion is amazing. If you're worried about .2v drop or .6v drop when it performs well regardless of what number value you put on it, maybe you should find something else to occupy your time.

The switch on the other hand is another matter.... but we won't get into that.

If something is all stainless and has .6v drop, the solution to less v drop is to get another mod. Stainless is stainless, it's conductivity is set in stone. If you can't live with it or ignore it and enjoy the flavor, vapor, compact size, then move the .... on.

Just cleaned her up real good, tooth brushed her down then clean it up again with some alcohol. Not sure if I should do this but I applied some Vaseline on the threads (top cap, battery, center post, 2 screws-negative post, bottom). Now she is all clean  but still a .4v drop which increased by .2+ Volt wait I mean decreased... Can the switch affect the voltage drop? If so, I will give it an alcohol bath.
After cleaning, it is def hitting harder, less voltage lost and higher Wattage output.

Eh.. anyone heard a female dog barking:confused: hmm... I'm pretty sure I heard it or maybe not :vapor:

The voltage drop is not bad, again it hits hard for me with a 1.2 ohm coil, so I don't care. Like Tierra says: no vaseline. I use no-ox-id special A on the threads, a tiny bit and it keeps it perfect for a long time.

Hey guys just thought I'd drop in and say that I have had my Orion 2.1 for a couple days and the verdict.... in LOVE. I have tried many different genesis attys and hybrids and I think the flavor on the Orion is just fantastic probably because of the tiny vapor chamber. I love the stealthy 350 size too! I have tried 7 different genesis attys from the AC9 to ihybrid to ZAP, Ikarus, and this is the first that I've actually been able to vape the entire tank dry!

Well it seems you are so sold on "your other hybrid" and take all the chance you can get to b**ch about the orion on the orion thread. Makes me wonder what your real intentions are. If you don't like the orion, just get rid of it and be done with it. BTW, I do whatever want I want to do with my time, you should mind your own.

Buy a better hybrid... now that is funny. I have gone through a lot and have tried many hybrids, and up to this point nothing has proven better. The only thing that even remotely bothers me about the Orion is the possible switch failure, which I had early on back in May or June... rock solid since, but with two top caps, numerous spare tanks, 350, 490, and 650 configurations, and plenty of spare switches, I have no worries.
