i still think getting bog rat to do a professional drill is better

just ordered a bog rat cap anyway, well if its not gonna fit my current tank, would just have to sand down another tank just to fit the bog rat cap.. a bit troublesome but well.. thats what all electronic cigarette is about rite

still think that why doesnt nosmoker design a pyrex that can align with the top cap.. or why not using orings instead of screw downs..

The mod is getting older now and the OrionV3.0 has came out, that's what I think.

yea v2 is getting a little older and v3 has just worked for me, so not much to say. Plus a lot of "old timers" don't frequent ECF as much...

by the way, i had heard ppl saying that the v3 aint that good compared to the v2 or v2.1.. how true is that?

would love to get my hands on the v3 as it is just purely sexy.. but performance wise, anyone mind to give a personal review here?

I have had every iteration of Orions made, and the evolution has been interesting. IMO, there is nothing wrong with a V3, it is just different, and very unique in the world of hybrids. The V2.1 loans itself to a low Ω coil well enough, works great, etc... With one weak spot IMO, the switch can be prone to failure if e-liquid is to get down through the positive pole shoulder washer/o-ring/seal and to the switch OR you keep putting that batt in backwards ... The V3 has not had any issue with switch failure to this point (for me). However, it likes 30-32 gauge kanthal/nichrome a lot better then the 28, and a 1.4-2Ω coil w/ the variable 5-15w power works rather well for me. I love/hate the variable airflow, I just don't get as great of vapor production because I think the air is to focused (not sure). I ended up using my original V2.1 cap (since I run a Bog Rat on the 2.1) and a 10x1mm o-ring to line up with the wick/coil so I get airflow to both sides of the coil. I run that with the smallest air hole on the vari-dial, and vapor production is great, along with flavor.

With that said, my two Orions are my work horses @ home in 18650 mode. V2.1 w/ Pluid and V3 w/ Boba's Bounty or Jungle Fever. When I go to work, I run the Vaper, and have a mini-did on a piccolo. Occasionally will go 18350/500 w/ one of my Orions also.

Yes, it is both and has threading inside, I just watched Mark Todd review of the cap and it is a full top replacement of the V2.1 top.


But I still need a original.

Are you on Vaporwall?.... Can you look or at least ask bogart if he has any v2.1 top caps in stock for me please?

I'm on vaporwall. And I can try for you. Would you be interested in buying another Orion v2.1? I have two of them and I am trying to sell one for $210 dollars. It original and not brushed and comes with all washers, screws, nuts, tank, and switch and has original top cap and everything else.
