I have already made the arrangments for it kei. In 1 month I will have the sample:)

That is awesome IMEO, Maybe now all the nay sayers will stop complaining and just bide their time until it is ready like everyone should be. Delay or no delay it should what You want to create, not just something thrown together to please all the impatient people in the world.

I am very interested in what you have in store for us my Friend but as with everything else, I can patiently wait for it as well;

I will try to show you in a month what I have in mind about a PV that will match Penelope. It would be better and much more efficient than a 14500 battery mod

Imeo, you are my hero. That is wonderful news. Just let us know what type of batteries to stock up on. I have a bunch of 14500s that I have to figure out what to do with.

I know that this question might be a little premature, but will this mystery device have air control? The lack of air control in the eGo twist is one of the reasons that I was hesitant in buying one. Again, I feel almost dirty buying something non-GG.

Imeo, Just remember to call it Protheus ;)

And also I agree, a 14500 Mod has to be regulated to be useful but VV isn't important.

I have a 14500 mechanical I rarely use as either the first 5 minutes on a fresh battery are unbearable due to burned taste or you can change the battery after 10 minutes because the vape is getting thin. Sure it still vapes, and not bad at all, but you notice the difference very fast ;)

I'm still getting a L-Rider Robust tho, have to use the Batteries I bought in anticipation for the Protheus for something, doesn't I?

Thanks SS:)
My plans as I have said before is to make a battery at 1300 mah, 17mm in width to meet Penelope's width, SS shiny style, air control, button that will keep the voltage steady at 3,6 volts and a screen with battery level and number of puffs. And as Valsa said, if we have Penelope on it that we can make any resistance we want, the steady 3,6 volts will be a very nice voltage for our Penelope. 0,9 ohms to 2 ohms will be the range of the wires we can make.

Our problem in so thin constructions is the battery capacity and we will solve it with this battery

580 mah is too low moep. If a battery is not more than 1000 mah is not good to my opinion. And if it keeps the voltage steady at 3,6 volts then we can vape as we want in a thin device

I agree tatoo. I also want to ask all of you about something. I am going to make a battery ego style. It will be inexpensive to be replaced, at 17mm fat, shined SS, keeping voltage at 3,6 volt and with air control. The questions are two:

1. It would be better if the button is separated from the battery or in one piece?
2. It would be better if we wouldnt make it like this but make a 14500 battery GG and to apply the button on it?

The second option is weak, more expensive but it will keep the voltage steady and it will have future ability to to add any electronic on this GG.

You know that I dont like the second option but I have to ask you first. My thought is that why to make a GG like this with a weak 14500 battery and not to make a 1300 mah battery ego style that will match Penelope's width

Well that all depends. If the 1300mah battery ego style is as long as these super long 1300mah egos, or 1000mah ego twists, then I am not interested in option 1. I think they look ridiculous and prefer a compact and 14-17mm diameter battery holder, as close to a 650mah ego as possible.

I use 14500s daily. I take to work a little battery case that hold 2 spares. I use one of those spares at some point after lunch. They also charge rather fast.

A sightly larger version of your slim model would be my take. Bottom button and all. The slim is cool as heck, but the 10440 batt is terrible, the double 10440 is to long... The 14500 works just fine, just carry a couple spares.

Foto0163.jpgi am for a mod where i can use my 14500 aws, so i can change qiuckly outside. and i prefer no elektronic so i have the full power on atty. i often use the kayfun mini v2 on slim with 1 ohm and 3mm gg wick, other combo i have is the mini sticker and the G 16 gus on it with kayfun, so i hope there is a gg mod in the future whitch have same dimensions like gus.
i also will prefer slim optik but for 14500 akkus and side button like on ggtb . side button is easyer to use and much more comfortable in hand
best solution for me where a ggtb clon for 14500 akkus

I have been away for extended times and after reading some of the comments, I will say it is probably good I have been unable to monitor these forums. The Proteus will be made only when it meets Imeo's satisfaction. That is a simple concept that has always existed for the product line of the GG series.

Imeo is not here to get rich - If so, he would have sold some designs to the Chinese long ago. This is his passion and love and there are a good number of us here that share that same passion with him. What other designers and maker of his skill and reputation would ask openly the things he does? Somewhere in the area of NONE that I know of.

And please, before anyone says it is "just" a PV or whatever, think carefully please. Please do not take Imeo's patience as weakness nor those of us who work for him and/or follow his work making it appear that such open personal/derogatory criticism is allowed for it is not. At the end of the day, the GG series is about the spirit of the designs and Imeo's commitment to excellence that have made the GG name what it is.

I am only an Associate but my job when well is as always, to help police these forums of his. This forum section is as much his "home" as any 4 walls are. You can't expect to walk into another persons home and pee on the carpet and expect nothing to be said for it will be. Other than that, if anyone has divergent views of PV's in general or how Imeo conducts his business, that is your right but... when any of us click reply, it becomes the interest of not only Imeo but those charged with keeping things on track here as well. ;)

Other than that, it is great to be back at least partially and like the rest of you, I anxiously await when Imeo has a product he feels comfortable with putting the name GG on! :)

EDIT: Clarification to differentiate personal criticism and derogatory remarks from legitimate and requested feedback or critique on hardware.

Maybe we can meet both of the things you mention poppa. A separated button on an ego style battery. That way we will have the ability to add anything in future on this GG battery
Option 1 sounds revolutionary, keep the button separated, it would be the first throw away GG
Option 2 with add-on options would meet GG's current standard regardless of mah capacity.
I vote for 2, but I would buy either.

Sent from my phone using my clumsy typing skills, never mind the typos.
