Proteus isn't dead, it's just being postponed. Imeo said a longggg time ago that they were NOT being sold as a unit because he needed to wait until he could perfect the electronics, so you went into getting your Penelope knowing that you were not buying an atty and a mod, but only an atty and then waiting on the mod, so i'm confused as to what there is to complain over.

Agree 100% Every since I first saw the Penelope I knew it was to be sold first and the matching PV for it had been delayed due to the electronics. So I too am confused as to how anyone could have thought it was going to be so soon after that it would be ready.

IMEO has been completely open and honest with us all the entire time and kept us up to date with the progress on the unit. He has been saying for some time now that it would be delayed. So be it, it is delayed, not deceased. That is what makes his devices Truly Great, they are not released until the are fully ready.

I Totaly agree with you guys ! Wait it out !

You could Never find a Great guy like Imeo , who has been open and honest with everything that's going on with the electronics and all.
Imeo is always around to answer any questions and help people out , Damn , even on vacation he would stop by !

So for ANYONE to Disrespect Imeo is disrespecting the whole GG community ! And my friend Dspin is completely justified to defend Imeo and his integrity !

I say Man Up , and wait like a big boy and be patient , OR , Sell it on the Classifieds ! There are Many people wanting Penelope that have none !

No sense in being disrespectful ,just to hear your self talk or to bash someone. The outcome of the situation will not change just because one is rude !

And to be perfectly Honest, IF, and that is a HUGE IF, for any reason someone is truly that upset, I have personally not seen a GG Product listed at a reasonable price last more than 24 hours on the classifieds. That alone should give anyone on the planet the utmost confidence in what they have.

Well said! For those of us who have been GG fans for some time now, we know the value of PATIENCE and surrendering our own wants/needs by having complete faith in Imeo to make the right calls as to what he does and doesn't make, and when he chooses to make it. If you want the best, then man up and wait in line. And if you don't want to wait or you don't feel that your expectations have been met, go elsewhere or at the very least show some respect for Imeo. If not, don't expect to be treated with any respect.

One thing I would ask is, can you please send Bruce like a billion yards of wick. He's always running out. I've heard that you can get it on E-bay but I never know what to get, and I read all these horror stories about fiberglass and how that might trigger the apocalypse or something. I'd rather just buy what you recommend.

It would be nice if people realized that Imeo and the GG's are all about innovation and cutting edge of e-cig design. The price you pay for that is that not everything can be done to a strict schedule. To insult the person who has given us the most advanced and innovative atties and mods is certainly not fair because I can assure you his frustration and dissapointment is greater than yours.

Imeo as I said before I have faith in your judgement and ingenuity my friend and I just want to tell you that you have most people's support and understanding. If some individuals don't seem to understand what the GG line of products represent then frankly they're not worthy of owning a GG product.

Since Imeo has decided to shelf Proteus until another time, I can understand the disappointments being expressed here.
When Imeo announced the P&P line, people pre-ordered to get the whole P&P unit.
To me its not a matter of whether Imeo produced the Penelope, but rather Imeo failed to complete the P&P as pre ordered, and only half of it was produced and sold. I bought Penelope as the first half of P&P.

Imeo, I understand you do not engineer electronics and want to produce specific devices that are met with approval. But you are top shelf at engineering the rest of the devise, you should reconsider producing the remainder of P&P without electronics.

Even though I'm pretty happy with it overall (though I can't stand that it was made without Imeo's blessing, but that's another story for another thread), my Sturm Mod with a fresh AW IMR 14500 and a 0.8Ω coil in my hellfire mini lasts MAYBE an hour of steady vaping before the performance drops off enough to warrant a fresh battery. Voltage regulation is an absolute must in the Proteus, especially if we expect to be able to vape 1.0Ω penelope coils at 6v like many (well not that many...but me and Imeo at least!) of us would like to.

And with electronics it will last only 20-30 mins Captain. The reason is that you always push the battery to give more and more voltage

I wrote my thoughts on GG outside thread about a 14500 mod. Its not what we need guys. A made in China 17mm battery to meet Penelope's width, with an AD control that I can make very easy will be much cheaper and at 1300 mah, not 580 mah.

A 14500 battery is a waste of time and a waste of your money to my opinion. We buy what ever we see around and we run out of money so we cant buy something good that will meet our needs.

So proteus is definitely shelfed??

I know imeo was having some issues but I wasn't aware he canceled it all together. Was hoping some kind of breakthrough would occur.

I must admit if this is the case I am a little bummed. And while that may poss some off, i prob wouldn't have bought Penelope but rather another ody or another Rebuildable.

Really looking for a smaller Rebuildable / device - exactly what proteus & penelope was to be.

It's not that I am unhappy with Penelope either - I do like my ody more but the draw for me was to have bothe pieces.

I fully understand things do happen -with me they always happen lol - it just stinks
