Thanks. It's good to know that I'm not the only one with this issue. I'll give it a try.

I had to use pliers for a good grip on the nut. Please be careful and do it slowly ... (insert joke here)
. Ariel is my friend, your new avatar your brand?
Ariel was a bicycle, motorcycle and automobile marque manufacturer based in Bournbrook, Birmingham, England. Car production moved to Coventry in 1911. The company name was reused in 1999 for the formation of Ariel Ltd, a sports car producer.

Well at least you didnt mention the .... plugs. I use the .... plugs to keep the juice from flowing out the bottom of my cartos when I fill them. When I am done I have to wipe off my .... plug. ;-]I use carto condoms on the jaws of pliers to keep from scratching.....there's no way I can make this not sound dirty, is there?

I appreciate all of the advice. I have broken everything down and rebuilt it several times. I definitely didn't cross thread, but I do appreciate the concern. I think the problem with the nut may be what is preventing the housing from screwing all the way down on the base.
Don't get me wrong, I got it up and running. Vaping at 7.4V and it is amazing. Just wanted to address some possible issues.
The only reason that I even brought any of this up is because I have watched all of the videos out there for the Penelope and the nut just seems to be off a little bit.
Thanks for all of the help ya'll.
Has anyone tried putting their Penelope on GGTS control tank with a 901->510 adapter and a GGTS retreader to employ full use of airflow control?
