Mundy - please let us know how this works with your meat grinder. I managed to get in on that last batch of triangles and I'm still sitting on the caps. I'm thinking about giving this one a go. (with a single magic coil)

No that's to get more airflow without having one huge hole. I'm going to try it with three I think.
I thought of trying that, figured it would increase the velocity of each passage hitting the coil with more of a jet stream from each passage but never actually tried it. of course it helps to start with a blank cheap cap

The bottom still has the TEENIEST LITTLE recessed lip. Will that be covered up when sitting on the olive r Dibi? Anyone have a pic?

no it won't be covered. You could play with o-rings; but that's gonna look like an o-ring. One thing you have going for you is that the atty and the top of the mod are two completely dissimilar materials. So, you're not gonna have the type of issue you would with flush-mounting a tube mod.

I just think it's weird... The triangle doesn't seem to have that little recess, but since it's still chrome plated it obviously wasn't milled down... Interesting.
May have to pick up a triangle, sand the bottom down to brass and replace it's guys with this one lol ( like I have the skill or energy for that lol)

Yes the triangles have that little lip, but at least it's the same finish and not that big.
I need sandpaper lol if I were to buy just one grit sandpaper, what grit should I get?

I shall run an RM2 on my Dibi, i made some vicious low Ω coils last night and i drilled one of the caps out to 5/64". I used 28g kanthal but if i get time between now and the end of the week, i'll make one from R41, or a bit of the Mundy Magic Monkey kindly made for me.
The entire thing will be powered by my sx30s and my workmates had better watch out!
