I like that much beef down there (especially in the squonk-ho nethers). It will certainly go a long way to adding strength. The default layout yields a mod of the height we're all used to. Were someone to be, say, small of hand, and were that person to select a wood that is quite strong (and not linear in it's grainflow), they could ask to lose the 1/8" of beef from the bottom (before I start shaping!) So, then, that would be 1 x 1.7 x 3.375"."

OK, but that's not the block size. That'd be your finished mod there. Didn't realize that's what your were asking in the other thread, D. Thank you tho, for taking the initiative. [classic smiley - none of this dopey new smiley]
