i think you ought to post a video of you smoking your pipe. Best Sherlock pose please.

But a Dibi will crucify an itaste, and i rather like the innokin mods - especially the 134 and the coolfire II. My Dibi is running at 58W, so DNAs seem a little feeble just now.

Add in 24mg juice and it's a wonder i can type at all.

I'm skerd to use my 134! It was broke the day I got it. It turns out that the reason was my fault, my steam turbine leaked into the juice well... which OPENS INTO THE CIRCUIT BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So juice got into the circuit board. Behind the button, there's a piece of yellow cellophane... which due to the juice got washed off the back of the switch, which led to a short.

I stripped 4 Kobalt screwdrivers getting the screws out of the 134, and the design of the circuit board was so STUPID (or smart, if they looked at it as making people give up, throw it away, and buy another one). Oh, did I mention that they LOCKTITED the screws in?!@!#@$

I did fix the 134... but after all that, I didn't even want to use it anymore. It is a pretty paperweight tho:). I need to fill out MOQ for my 2014 18 Arhat if anyone wants a cute VERY INEXPENSIVE FULLY REPLACEABLE 2014 designed mod that is so new it's never even been reviewed yet (the rainbow thing right next to the VTR). It works very well, is beautiful, and modders will get a kick stripping it. It comes with a VW PCB much like an Evolv Kick (but is slightly different- maybe worse, maybe better, I don't know), plus I'm getting everyone a large sized eGo case too. Bet HRH will like it, you should get her one!!

Complete randomness, but....

How many 1/16th cobalt drill bits does one break in a hand drill before one realizes they should have bought a drill press?

That would be 3 for this idiot with the last one going into my thumb... quite deep I might add. Man I do dumb things sometimes! At least I was wearing glasses. That is all, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Silver contacts arrived today.

Looked the situation over and decided the shank was too small to thread to 8-32.
I already knew that, but wanted to make sure the sellers dimensions were correct, yep spot on.
Threaded to 6-32 and mulled over how to attach that to an 8-32 sex screw.
Idea, how about a Helicoil?
Googlefu showed that was not going to work.
Idea, how about a home made Helicoil?
Wrapped 30 gauge Kanthal around threads but not enough.
Ended up wrapping 24 gauge Kanthal around threads and that worked good.
So good in fact that it stayed in the sex screw just like a Helicoil would.
Next, to remove that stubborn brass screw on the 510 center pin.
Whew boy, that was a 2 hour struggle but I finally licked it.
CA had penetrated all the way through the threads and into the threads of the nut below.
Thank goodness I asked for a SS center pin cause if it was brass I would have snapped it in a heart beat.
Not being a boy scout I didn't have any thin copper like I had planned on getting and forgot.
Went to the garage and got another .010 brass feeler gauge out of another set.
Cut it up into the correct shape and drilled it to make a more appropriate bypass shim than my makeshift from the other day.
Had to install a thin washer under the shim due to the fact I couldn't thread the contact shaft all the way to the bottom of the contact head.
Lightly coated the contact surfaces with Noalox and installed.
Made a really wimpy spring out of the lightest spring I could find since the ring magnets have not shown up yet.
Double check to make sure nothing is shorted with atty on.
After getting everything back together a new problem presented itself.
The SX30's are too long without modifying the bottom pin.
(I plan on doing this later with another silver contact but no time tonight)
Idea, remove nylon washer.
Not enough, so insert flat top LG and Bob's your Uncle!
0.14V total drop of which .08V is from battery internal resistance and .04 is from fuse resistance.
No Noalox on silver contact, so we shall see how it holds up.
