All the reviews I need are found right here in this thread. Well, since I jumped on the list without seeing any reviews, thats not really true. However, it does make me feel better about my purchace knowing how loved they are.

More set-up pics and first vape vids would be welcomed. Just sayin.

Your voltage drop test doesn't differentiate between the drop internal to the battery and the drop in the mod itself.

But the conclusion that "This thing is pretty awesome" is correct nonetheless.

PS: Why are you using a lame 1600 mAh battery on such a high-resistance coil? You could easily use much higher capacity battery with those kinds of loads.

Here is an unbiased review by a jobber who paid and waited for his mod.

Review of the pdib OliveR - YouTube

Very good:)! You're easier on the eyes than pbusardo:p.

Only thing is, we tend to call it a Dibi here, and your review lists it as a pdib OliveR, so if someone searched for Dibi, they wouldn't find it. I'd change it to pdib Dibi OliveR just so it can be searched using both terms.

One other small thing, not a big deal....how strong is the magnet? Sure, you had a bit of trouble getting the bottom off, but one thing people would worry about is it coming apart by itself in a pocket or purse, so it would help if you grabbed the top by the richlite part and SHOOK it so you could see how it won't pop off if you pick it up that way (this being probably the only real concern about build vs function).

Also, in your first review, you mentioned the purpose of the rubber O-ring (for spacing different battery sizes), but you forgot to mention it in this one. Someone may not see the other one, so it's good to cover again.

Sorry about the nit picking, just thinking in terms of what else I'd like to know in a review. The volt meter was very helpful:)!

Why? Because I can of course :)

I have a few AW IMR 2000mahs too but have relegated them to my killer 18650 flashlight.

Battery life isn't that important to me when all I have to do is pull the bottom off and slide in / slide out one of my 7 pretty much brand new aw IMR 18650 mah batteries and get back to vaping like it never even happened :). I pretty much never even let em get low enough where I feel a drop off anyhoo.

I run what works, is highly recommended by my fellow bottom fed vapers and interchange with all my killer bottom fed mods :) and I like stuff simple and bulletproof :)

Oh and in the VD - what matters to me is actually what the total VD is. My batteries, according to my homies in here are pretty low internal resistance :)

Perhaps one of the celebs, if they ever get their hands on an OliveR can add a few more minutes of worthless horse droppings to the their endeavor testing VD at various contact points :) I'm lucky I don't burn myself and / or short something doing the tests I did :)

I'm just a jobber with killer mods. That I pay for :)

Now I gotta get back to my paying job. :)

Great points. I focus on what's important to me :) I'm like that sometimes :)

I'm still thinking that most people paying this much and waiting this long for a mod aren't going to put it thru much if any torture testing. During real world scenarios using a rare and custom piece (meaning I treat it as such) I've never had it come apart - not even close. Not that I would grab it or my $115 mods by the drip tip to pick it up :) nor would I throw it in a purse :)

If I were reviewing a common, Everyman / woman mod I would introduce some shaking and banging but since I don't currently nor do I intend to own any, it's another thing I'll save for those that get their mods free. :)

When I get bored in the future, I may make another and call it something like a review of a dibi and introduce some shaking and take it all the way apart and stuff too :) I might even vape it for the camera :). Kinda left that out didn't I ? :)

cool vid russ, I'm curious about your ohm tester, if you just connect the 2 ends of the leads together what does it read? 0.0? if not then you'd have to deduct whatever reading you get from wire to wire when you measure your coil, in other words, if wire to wire it measures at lets say .7, then you would deduct .7 from your coil reading to see what the coil itself really is. chances are pretty good that the 510 to the atty and then the 2 wire extensions are adding some resistance to your coil readings I think.

I'll check. Thanks turbo :)
