My guess is that it's the brass leaf, the one with the plastic screw just needs some adjusting - the plastic screw that is.

Either that or just rotate the firing pin / fire button 90 degrees :)

Or both :)

Unless she's the first person to short their oli and melt the fuse :)

Nope..... fuse is still good.

I was just telling dibster that I've bugged out over really cheap stuff that failed for whatever reason yet I'm sitting here with my feet kicked up now..... It's all gravy! :D
We'll get it figured out. In the meantime it Dibi Nap time!

awwww, yer makin' me blush. (and smile real big too tho also)

Yep, #12

:)

Blush till you turn purple amigo LOL cuz you deserve it! Have not been this pleased with a vape product ever and I was a tiny bit skeptical based on all the things I've spent money on. But I had faith in the bee (and those of you who got them early on) and I'm glad I did. Even if it vaped mediocre, the "hand-feel" alone makes it a winner!

Scandalex, I hope you get it up and running quickly! Loved your pics of the unwrapping. I liked the little silver box, too. :)

I had to run out to work right after I got it, so now that I'm done, here's my pic and a few comments.

Thank you so much, Pdib! I love it. Pictures just don't do it justice. I'm so glad you hinted at the slate caps. Black would have been stark, but the slate is warm dark brown like the mod, makes me think of really good dark chocolate - my favorite. Lovely match! The finish and workmanship are outstanding. You are a wonderful woodworker! It's silky smooth from piece to piece, perfectly sized and aligned.

I already shortened the button throw, and am hoping the spring loosens a bit. My hands are very small and the button is a hard push for me. I know my husband said there is a post about snipping a bit of the spring. I'll read up on that.

I was gonna send you a PM about the missing info sheet, and before I could even get that far, you had it covered with a PM. :thumb: Not that I really needed one since my husband has one. :)

So here's my OliveR with some AiV White Rabbit in the bottle and a cyclone on top.

Malkuth (Sam) is my husband. He's got an Ambrosia Maple OliveR from the second run.

Wait.... How'd he get a Dibi before you?
Wait..... on 2nd thought~ How come you didn't take his?

Husbands these days just get away with too much. What happened to what's his is mine? :D

This is very exciting to see Run 3 arrive to their proud owners and to view all the gorgeous pictures. Congratulations to all.

Seeing run 3 pics in the hands of their owners is exciting, because it means pdib is making mine now. Unless he took a few days off, and well, i'll just pretend he's out in his workshop, sitting in his rocking chair, whittling away.

...DROOOOL!!!!....

Wow guys, your mods look amazing! Great job Mr. Bee!

I love that wood timk, what kind is it? where'd you get it?

old growth redwood from burlsource. Knowing what I know now, I would choose differently. It looks incredible but it is a crumbly wood. There are some spots on the insides that crumbled during the process. pdib did his wizardly magic and got it through though. :thumb: Who knows how strong it really is and I'll have to be careful with it.

A lot of these burly curly blocks I see posted up sure look pretty, but I am curious how well they will hold up over time. Highly doubt mine would survive a fall but I could very well be wrong. Plan is not find out :D My next one I want richlite tops/bottoms and something really strong/durable. Run 12 is far enough out that we all should know what takes the most abuse. I have a block of that bog oak so I'm super curious how xobelot's does.

Ha! Here's the short story:

I tease him that he's a slow learner. :D
I've been using REOs exclusively for almost 3 years and loving them. He wanted to do his own thing. It turned out, his thing wasn't such a good idea. He finally got a REO after the *cough* bogger debacle *cough*. And loves his REO. But he also really likes woodstuffs. When he decided to get a Dibi, I decided that I wasn't gonna be left in the dust, even though I'm not a chaser of wood mods or a sub-ohmer. (My REOs are all metal.) I admire the wood mods, but never had the urge to get one. BUT, I didn't want to be labeled a "slow learner" or not be one of the "cool kids". So a few days after he got on the list for his Dibi, I decided I needed one. :p

Bottom feeders rule (they are all I know) and I know a good one when I see it. I followed a thread about some guys doing innovative things to their mods in the REO forum months and months ago, one of whom was Pdib. When he came out with his mod, I just couldn't resist the uniqueness of his creation.

As far as the "what's his is mine", I'd rather not share, but have my own. We don't have the same vaping habits. ;) And I have to say, my husband nudged me to get one. He's a good guy and never denies me something I want. :)

I give up. I never did get to sleep yet--doing everything dibster suggested to get my Dibi working.

My hands hurt like OMG! Pushing squeezing taking apart starting over.....I feel beat up.
My fire button is so tough to move. Like trying to move concrete.

If the weather is nice tomorrow I'm going to the post office. If it's not then I'll wait til it is. :D I hate bad weather.

Ok now I am going to sleep til Grey's comes on.
