Man, those look awesome! Every time you post pics or snippets I get a strong urge to buy wood haha now if I could only make a decision that would be greaaaaat torn between mango, claro walnut, or maple burl... really like that dark walnut look with copper top plate and richlite top/bottom.

Any concerns with stabilized claro walnut?

Well, I believe Mark put some of that in the PDIB section. I've never worked with Claro walnut; but I've had no issues with the others (black and peruvian) I've worked with (here, and in furniture).

Common Uses: Furniture, cabinetry, gunstocks, musical instruments, veneer, turned items, and other small wooden objects and novelties.
