A thought just came to mind. At my age you need to say something or write it down before it escapes you.
Have you ever used ivory for the buttons?
The reason I ask is because I have some small pieces that have been gathering dust for a couple years.
I would be happy to donate some if it would get used on some of the mods.
What I have is old mammoth and walrus fossil ivory (legal stuff). Even though it is called fossil Ivory it has not turned to stone. Technically it is mineralized. You can sand and shape it with normal woodworking sandpaper.

I'd also love an ivory button if at all possible! Just let me know when, and how much!

VH has leftovers. (from this bone looking mod) I could just not even say anything, just kin'a like, " yeah, there's yer ivory" . . .. . "yeah, there's your invisible button, MoN"








. . . . anyway, I've been busy running around Seattle trying to find M2 x 2.5mm set screws for a fancy machinist who apparently can't get any or cut some longer ones down or google.
