The green ones in the first batch were Box Elder, correct? I always found those absolutely captivating.

When I bought that piece it was listed as stabilized and dyed "buckeye" burl. Everyone that sees these two in person are just awe struck. People often ask if I'd sell them one....my response is always, not a chance.

know what you mean, but weird, I'm still seeing it.
I'm excited to see what Peter comes up with for Todd. He had some nice things to say about Peter. I love Todd's reviews and his accent is fascinating to me. He seems like a great guy. I think it'd be fun to have a beer with him and talk about vaping. I haven't been buying much new vape gear lately but I still check out his reviews.
I'm really curious too... surprised that Todd didn't pick his own wood actually!
Todd lives round the corner from my parents (poor .......!). I watch all his reviews too and Smurfie is so used to the starting titles that as soon as she hears that 'clump' of the letters hitting the table she says "hi Todd"!
If he's got all the latest gear on it - silver pin etc, then as soon as he sorts the throw of the switch it'll be a 'cracking vape'! You wait and see!

So I stopped by this awesome little mod shop in Seattle yesterday and picked up this awesome mod:
In hand
Trust me; it’s even more beautiful in person. And it works as good as it looks – hits like a freight train. .26V voltage drop with a Samsung 20R at 4.15V and a .45Ω coil (Tied with FB’s record).
LOL, that's right… I got to meet the myth... the man... the legend… the master bee… the mod artist himself… the one and only… “pdib”. I found out for myself that he “really is all that” and to top it all off, just happens to be a really nice guy.
(Oops, was I supposed to say that?)
Normally I never drive downtown Seattle on purpose but, as you could probably imagine, in this case it was well worth the trip. I got to see where all the magic happens. A very nice dedicated mod shop.
Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

Yea, but I thought I would put it out there anyway. This is the best of the man made stuff and its miles away from the real thing...with the right guy guiding the tools and making the wood "talk". No substitute for the real deal, Mr.pdib.
