So for anyone whose interested... Ecigz.co.uk has a preorder up for cyclone afc caps.... Like a delrin black, a brass, and a copper. Not saying, just saying
If they came with a removeable chamber size reducer, I'd be all over that. But since they don't, my plain stainless AFC cap sits around unused while my Cyclones wear their tight-fitting standard caps.

Monkey would like a brushed ss afc cap with a polished top piece. Possible?

The idea was (and VH can confirm or deny, when he drops by): The atty comes with SS AFC. Optional/additional AFC tubes would be . . . .

(a) copper

(2) brass

(C) brushed(?)/matte SS

ya know, anything i$ po$$$$ible. I'll $$$$$eeee what I can do :D

Seriously though, If I owned the machine shop or if I were making these myself, you guys won't have to ask twice.

The shop I'm working with has a minimum order ( in the 100s ) to keep cost down. I know there are places that does the onesy twosies so I'll see what I can do :D

If you're serious about having your mug laser etched on it, please pm me a scan of the image. An outline image on a white background would be preferred.

So I recently got another BF Cyclone. Yeah, I already have a few, but I like having spares of things. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package is that there was no teeny-tiny hex key. OK, maybe they've switched to some other kind of screws. Opened it up and indeed, they're now using Phillips-head screws. I'm OK with that, I guess. But what I'm not thrilled about at all is that our beloved concave deck is gone, replaced by a conventional flat deck with a lip:

In fact, I kinda wonder if it's real or clone. I'd be mighty ...... if it were a clone, 'cause I sure paid a 'real' price for it.

On a positive note, the BF drilled pin looks better than any of the older ones I have:

I just picked up my first BF Cyclone. I never posted about it anywhere, since I had no older ones for comparison. I didn't know the deck used to be concave. And I was (and am) a tad concerned it might be a clone as well. The Philips screws heads are already starting to wear down, the metal is too soft. Compared to my other attys, the overall fit and finish is a bit "meh". Glad to see it wasn't all in my head.

I'm not. Just watching you being cute. :)

And on the drip tip thing; I'm not making drip tips for other peeps. It's not my area of expertise (by a long shot). What should take me 20 min. takes me hours, and the results are unpredictable (to say the least).

It gets worse. The Phillips head screw in the centerpost is too short to actually hold 30 gauge wire tightly.

Now you're gonna ask what I'm doing 30 gauge? I'm still playing with titanium.
