I was skeptical about the printed plastic too, until I went to modify some of the internals to accept different hardware; that's when I found out it's much tougher than one would think. So I'm not worried about dropping it.

And unlike with a REO, I don't have to worry about collateral damage to my hardwood floors, my tile floors, or even my driveway.
