I just realized... Dibby puts my poo in his box... And I've given him wood... TWICE

Actually, XObox, there's quite a number of people bathing their tonsils in the steam rising off your poo. And there would be plenty more who would jump at the chance, if you weren't going off to do your doodie.

LOL - for me that Mayan calendar represents a at least a year of community college with exponential curves and all. MasterOfNone "Woa that gives me a headache" is right. That's why I knew what I'd be doing even as I bought my first VV/VW SVD.

More to come very soon..... hold on.......

Ok so I'm a little excited and couldn't wait to post some Dibby porn.

Here’s the Dibby Canary Beta 0007 – for now I’m calling him 007:

No dust on this one either! It looks better in person.

I came home to it last night, unpackaged and scrubbed a brand new Cyclone AFC, wrapped a .6Ω coil, 7 wraps of 26g Kanthal A1 on a 1/16th drill bit, (redneck coil jig), tested continuity, voltage and resistance everywhere, (see pdibs advice on previous posts) plugged in the coil and cinched er down, and I knew right then this was ordinary bottom feeding wood mod. I haven’t measured voltage drop yet (coming soon to a theater near you) but while I was burning in the coil I could have easily melted it off the posts. No kidding! You won’t be holding down the button and making a flashlight on a Dibby! 

Wicked it up, loaded it with my favorite juice (the notorious NEMP) and…………..

WHOLLY-SEAMING-MONKEY-POO!!! This thing hits like a locomotive on take-off. I’ve never blown clouds like this before. (When you coming back monkey?)

Like others have said, “it’s beautiful”, fits good and feels good in your hand. (hmmm:oops:)
Every attention was paid to detail even with the hidden character of this particular beta. Pdib includes everything you need in your little bag of tricks for just about any setup.

Thank you for all your hard work pdib. When I made my first post on this thread #26 I knew exactly what I was looking at. “A work of art made by pdib”! It’s worth every penny and in my case I know I got the better end of the deal. After all, the “Canary Beta 0007 really is priceless”!

More to come – I’m waiting for camera equipment. 

Here's a little suggestion I'm gonna make (based on a few PMs I've gotten); if somebody wants to get all "interpretive dance" with the materials they choose for a mod, please feel free to check with me first. I'm sure many of these suppliers of woods exotic or stabilized have some reasonable return policy; but checking in with me is way less hassle. Lignum Vitae, Ironwood, Guayacan is some seriously hard stuff. I imagine I could make a mod from it; BUT, it's gonna wreak havoc on my tooling. Don't buy it (unless you're up for paying to retool my shop . . . . ~+$200). We've learned that "type A" stabilized (closed cell) is basically solid material; whereas "type B" (open cell) is a process that coats the cell walls, but doesn't fill the cells with material. I would imagine the "type A" would be more suitable for matching caps (custom). The "type B" would be fine, I'm sure, for doing the body only with it. I could maybe do matching caps with type B, or certain burls or woods (not stabilized); but we're epitomizing "Custom PITA" versions here. Also, some dealers of Burls are catering to the wood turning market. Their product is "green" (wet, fresh, juicy). We don't want that stuff. We want either kiln dried, or something that's been kicking around your uncle's attic for 20 years. Lastly, some folks aren't sure . . .. . you don't need to get your own materials. I have materials. Don't buy materials unless you're in a spendy kin'a mood.

Peace out (←)

Those are absolutely gorgeous (especially the green one, my favorite color: ) ) i could never spend a lot of money on a mass produced mod, but these... these are something else. Well done sir.

Yes, I'm proud of them(both, there are twin green ones)....No, I'm not cocky....but you should see them in person....in my hand(s) (both, I vape both at the same time, of course)....vaping like a boss...;)
