Does Rene have a "taste" to it like Nichrome? At least for me, Nichrome made my mouth feel funny :(

Maybe I'm sensitive to nickel.

I've never tried nichrome, unless you count all the disposable attys I used

No, for me, there were a couple things. It's only available in the one gauge (27), and that just didn't put me at the right resistance. With XObox's help, I figured out a configuration of a twisted dual wire coil that worked pretty good. . . .. but then, along came that ol' Mr. Mundy and his twisted hootenany pistachio wire, and that put an end to all things other.

Here's the crown of thorns coil that Xobe developed and I ran with.

Very neat coils pdib:)!!

I have an unrelated question... I got in partial trade a little Iching mod that wouldn't work. I took it all apart, and it's a mech mod, there's nothing to see really. I tested it on a multi meter today and it is showing a charge... so the only thing it can be is that the pin in the middle got pushed down. I can't push it back up, so is there a way to pad up the center pin so it's not too far away from an atomizer? NM, I used a screwdriver and hammered it a bit further out from the underside. I think I need a spring now and it will work:).

You're not very secure in your orientation, are you?

Of course there are some wood mods are even more phallic than your typical light-saber setup. :D

No. I teeter on the edge between loving my SHCW and running off with a random rugged landscaper or painter type, or even a roofer like every day. The dudes that came to do my hardwood floors on their hands and knees also. And I'm sure if I were ever around pdib out there in his fab shop I would not be able to control myself.

I fear that if I use or even so much as brandish a tubesteak mod it will push me over that edge. :)

Truth is, I just don't like tube steak mods. I never have. I was quite bummed when I went to upgrade from my V2 that that was all there was (or so I was misled).

Again, remember that I'm very shaky in my orientation so things like using brooms, screwdrivers (big thick handled ones) hammers, the grips on my dirtbikes, sometimes even just looking at a deep drive 27mm socket all secretly threaten my SHCW's future every day.

But seriously, none of those things are put up to mi boca and sucked. Yeah, I try to avoid that.

Neither is a light saber, unless ol' Ani was really Annie and I'm just not aware.

My preference is to vape stuff that ain't a dildo alike. Thank god there's choices. I find humor in just about everything and I grew up where and when making jokes about that kinda stuff was ingrained so I find it comical as hell.

But you can vape anything ya want. Chef doan judge.

And don't worry your safe. I could never be with a dude that vapes a tubesteak.

I'm kinda with you. Here's my current collection of "real" mods:

Not shown are an MVP and a VV V3, neither of which are tubes either.

The only round tube-like things I own are some eGo type batteries, which have fallen into complete disuse. I keep them around to lend to smokers to introduce them to vaping.

Real name is Terry, but I have went by Alexander Mundy since the old BBS days. I hacked the IBM 370 in college and created a fake student complete with all background and even an overdue library book for a final in assembler class. Wasn't illegal at the time, but the college made me work with Sysop to patch the dual operating systems so someone with malicious intent couldn't bridge them. He called me Mundy after the Robert Wagner character and it just stuck with me.

BTW, for any old time geeks that understand, I POP'ed my PSW off the STACK, XOR'ed it appropriately and PUSH'ed it back to give me Sysop privileges to bridge between CMS and MUSIC. They shouldn't have left those thousands of pages of 370 core code out where inquiring minds could sift through it.
