Y'all are making me wish I had one too! (a fancy one, I mean)

Speaking of which . .. .

So, what if I were to tell you all that #0002 may become available? I say "may" because I'm considering keeping it for myself. The friend who bought it, as a beta tester, finds he isn't using it much. Rather than have it sit on the shelf, he wants to sell it back to me and let me do with it as I please. (He's very considerate, nay downright nice, he is.) He's already sent it to me.

The mod's been used in a humid environment. The copper has a full patina. It looks like it could've been found in a trunk in Grampa's attic. (I mean that in a good way, if anyone's into old/antique looking gear, this one fits the bill.) I could spruce it up. Heck, I could refinish it. So, it's kin'a special in that, if one were to desire it as a functional collector's item, they could choose to; take it as it is (looking very much like a piece of history), or have me do a minor refinishing (get it all shiny n' stuff), or have me completely refinish it. If I did that, it would/could be a Natural Seward Park Maple Burl (looking more like the others I've made). I have it, I've examined it, fired it, it works great.

Here's a pic from when I first made it. click on this pic and it'll take you to the gallery for this unit. (I'll post a slideshow link below too).

If anyone's interested, give me a holler.

(btw: this one I'll sign and # if requested)

I'm convinced pdib somehow knows what time I go to bed. This was the first unread post that I logged on to. On that note, had I mentioned that I mailed the check for the beach house rental just yesterday. Yeppers, $925 to appease mamma, and keep my future vape budget at acceptable levels. Like gg, this was the mod I coveted the most from the original pics. Perhaps, pdib should just add this to the inventory, and offer it to those in the present run, or next, should no one want it. I'm sure it wouldn't last past, say, run four.

Drilled out the holes on the igo-w4 to 1/16" and made those at 0.4Ω with 26g kanthal. They are not micros - they are wrapped round a 0.11" pole on a DZ jig.

Tasty!

I need to play with this rene41 some more today. It burns so hot, the cotton doesn't seem to wick fast enough to keep up. Have only used it on one of my drippers so far. Perhaps a larger diameter wrap lower to the deck. Any advice or insights on this stuff?

Not with that 9500# winch on front.

Here's the scariest one I've done, and why we say adrenaline at 3 mph.

Because here's what happens when you do it wrong.

Love it! I haven't been off-road in over twenty years, but my brand, spankin' new '92 Explorer (with air conditioning) really surprised me. Went everywhere the CJ5 went with no troubles. No roll bars or lift kit, though, so I kept things tame by comparison. Even so, there were times when I could reach out my window and touch the ground while the passenger could see nothing but sky.

Got trail scratches on all sides while still running on the dealer plate. Buffed it out and went right back to that same trail.

I think there's a handful of each type ("modders" and "justwannavapers") who have one at this point. I'll let them chime in; because my perspective is isolated and skewed.

It's not like you have to build your own battery before you can vape it.

And you know I'm here for you, ScandaL.

I like tinkering, but I'm not very inventive. I lurk in several ECF threads where you inventive types make it easy for people like me.

Mail the battery and the mod(have to test the charge right) to whips battery charging service. Guaranteed 5 month turnaround time, ( or whenever run 7 gets done). :D

so wait, it's still available :) ah, I'd love it but this month was killer, a few misc cyclones and 2 woodvilles. one dibi, 2 chalices and a ti dna30 we2 turned this into my most expensive vape month ever... I need weeks to recover :)

Me too. One Dibi, one GUS Lord + drip tip, 3 Cyclones (don't ask), RM2, Juice stocks, . . .

I LOVE that Dibi, but my wallet is on fire. I need to let it get back down to a warm smoulder, but - the Cobia are running!

ew that's not bad on the turnaround... is that atleast 5 months or exactly... and if I send you a steady stream will I get them back in 5monthly increments?

Love it. We call trail scratches, pin stripes, both of mine have plenty of pin stripes. :D
