Stabilized old growth redwood from burl source. Not the best for this application, it's a bit crumbly so I'll have to be gentle.
I was just reminded by my husband (malkuth) that the walnut for my mod was a salvaged log from the bottom of a river in NC. We brought about five feet of it home. It's nice to see it look so lovely in a finished product.
