If you have the upgraded silver firing screw and the nut touches instead of the silver, that may stop it from firing (at least it did with mine when I first installed it).

If you have the regular screw in it, I'm at a loss....... what did you play with on it?

ah, you brought up a good point. That has happened to me before where the atty all of a sudden stopped working. It turns out different mods make different contact with respect to the positive screw on the atty. I had to adjust my cyclone center pin out to make it work with everything.

Do you have a multimeter or know someone with one? Makes troubleshooting a lot easier.

maybe post some pics of all the contact points? bottom plate, top plate, 510 connector, etc.

the nut is brass. so it would conduct.

With the new configuration I'm wondering if the fuse foot slipped under the washer and isn't making contact

Not sure I really need the screw since I wasn't pushing the bottom cap off when trying to fire.

I 2nd the take some pix of the top and bottom... even if pdib fixes it for you, for those of us who'd like an idea of what could go wrong, pix would help a lot... plus, we can maybe save you being without your dibi for a period of time, if one of the people who have one can just look and see what went wrong.
