My chickens are strictly pets. Pets that make lots of eggs. I told my wife no for years and finally gave in. Turns out they're a great source of entertainment. No moss or bugs in my back yard!
Sorry to hear about yours. I ended up eating fluffy (the rabbit) when I was a kid too.

i think i ate about 10 pet rabbits before i finally figured out what was going on.
and that was after i refused to eat chicken after the age of 4 or 5.
ya think i mighta caught on soon after they kept saying the rabbit "tastes like chicken" but noooo...
a few years later i finally got a dog, but he eventually disappeared under weird circumstances.
still kinda shocked i haven't been a vegetarian for the last 50 years...
So, when the dog disappeared, did you happen to get introduced to Korean food at that time, specifically Kegogi?

Bosintang is a soup. Kegogi is like Bulgogi (Bulgogi is beef marinated in soy and seasonings... Kegogi is dog instead).
people eat some interesting things... that bat soup business I'll have to pass on

crocodiles and ostriches are pretty good I thought. They were both in the menu when I went to Darwin, Australia
