well then now here so . .. .
here's the last mod from this run. Curly Sapele. VH had this in his lumberyard, and we were curious to see how it would machine and etc. Meantime, this run, I had a bunch of "surprise me"s and mystery mods, and some new woods. I brought this one along as a backup on many fronts. VH has graciously agreed to share some of his stockpile; specifically those woods that will yield multiple mods and he really just wanted one. For the time being, that includes this Curly Sapele, some Whacky Bubinga, and some Quilted Maple. On these, I'll be charging an extra $5 for the material for a compensation fund.
PM me if interested. This'll be first/next on the list type style.

) I really need to stop looking at all of the beautiful pictures. My only solace is that my time will come.Simply stunning! (wimpers a bit, " but I want mine now") I really need to stop looking at all of the beautiful pictures. My only solace is that my time will come.
Keep close tabs - don't wander too far - every now and then an opportunity strikes and you have to be fast. That's how I got my first one.
After all, I haven't seen one yet I wouldn't like to take home.![]()
I think the juice comes from the 2 holes under the coils!I was hoping that's what it was.
So what's the plan for anchoring the positive termination for the coil? I see what looks like a juice hole in the center post but where to put the wire?
Lookin good BTW.
Hmm... Or is the juice coming from a lower point?
I cant wait!
