mission accomplished, then (re: sending you something that I hoped would brighten your day a little).

thank you, Mark! :) You are almost Kogijiki-like in your wonderfulness.

I was thinking everybody should make a video. I mean, I hope you all realize how fulfilling it is to make something, and then actually see it resonate with someone else. You all are the bigger part of this equation. However, I'm thinking everyone making a video would get to be a bit much, and real fast. :p

Sure why not....in 15 months you won't even remember this promise...

So I raced to the PO after I got out of work today with my "you shoulda stayed awake yesterday stupid" ticket. As luck would have it, my regular mail lady was working the counter today. After I presented my ticket (which should have been golden IMHO), she told me:"you know, if you'd just signed that and left it in your box, I would have brought your package out tomorrow". I think she was confused by my laughter.

The pictures did not do it justice (neither will mine). I've loved every one I've seen in this thread, but I could not get over how much better it was to have in hand :)

Mere words cannot express my joy of owning this mod :) The ivory button is a thing of beauty as well. It matches the wood perfectly :) I was a little sad that the ivory pieces I sent pdib were inadequate for button-making, but seeing the one he made for me more than made up for that minor, minor disappointment :)

Being somewhat technically challenged, I was pleasantly surprised how easily I got it up and running :) I think the hardest part was getting a new coil in my Chalice ;) I think Super_X said it best," this mod is BAD AYUSS!!" I think I'll be dropping my nic level in my next batch of juice :)

Made a small video, it's not a review and isn't live on YouTube, just sharing it here and my own forum.

Crap! Just makes the wait that much harder. I'm just glad I signed up for my second before I even got my first! The wait will be out to three years very soon. Thanks so much to Rabernet for the bump!

You are welcome! I didn't see any need for me to get my second before you got your first, my friend! It was a pleasure to do that waiting line swap with you!

I AM NOT getting a third!!
Assuming our esteemed host is still making them by the time my name comes around again, I most certainly AM getting a third!

Thing is, with as long as his list has gotten, I figure if I put $1.00 to a jar every day and I will have saved enough by then to pay for it. Given that I used to spend $10-12 a day on cigarettes, this will not be difficult. :D

Great idea, I think I'll go ahead for #3 now and do this

Peter, if you ever get a call from my wife, these cost $50 each ;-)

It's a shame that my childhood dream of seeing Optimus Prime riding a Dinobot would come first before I get my DiBi.

but yes folks, It's safe and it's on its way. I'll be getting it next week for sure!

Thanks for the update. I've been wondering where you stood, afraid to ask.

I didn't buy any since I have a supply of KGD, but another member (unsolicited and out of the goodness of their heart) sent me some to try. Haven't had it in long enough to get a long term impression, but I have to say I am impressed in the short term. Might be my next "best and greatest wick".

I didn't notice any tendency to break, but I have only put it in one coil so what do I know?

speaking of good hearted members, I just wanted to thank you again for sending me some of your MM coil!!! I've really come to appreciate it when I realized what it took to make one. I've been making MM just one foot at a time and after a couple of tries, I've gotten the feel of it. I don't use power tools either. I just pinch one end in a mini vise and hold the other with pliers. Twisting it while watching tv....LOL takes me about 30 min!
