IIRC someone got a 100 lot or so of them from Beauticig who made (makes?) them.

Anywho, will mail out to you along with a surprise. <=No Peeking!

Well, don't send it if my above question (re: sticking out being equivalent to "why not just have a 3mm post there") gives you pause.

Otherwise, thank you, kind fellow.

and why not, good sir? would you begrudge me that dime? (it would serve me right; as I had thought to send you this Canadian $10 bill that's been mouldering in my wallet for about 4 years before your trip. and i forgot.)

There goes the surprise.

You peeked didn't you!

I'll take the number 10 spot on the list. I not a expert builder but not a beginnner either. And if people are worried about the coil jiggling loose I can guarantee that bouncing around in an 18 wheeler all day will stress test that aspect.

Well, hmmmmm . . .. . is it safe to assume you keep a fully loaded backup mod in that rig of yours? :?:

If needed i can steal the wife's Reo but it wouldn't be pretty. For someone who.didn't ever want a mech she's damn possessive about her bottom feeder. Once my dibi gets done I can move my Reo to backup mode.

Ok, well . . .. . . . the idea here is just to get a couple people trying it and giving some feedback and brainstorming some solutions (if needed). It isn't like we have to wait til next x-mas to get some more handmade "no-posts". I just didn't want some mad rush of requests for me to churn out a bunch of something that could use some proving out before mass production is justified. If it seems to be working, I'll make a bunch more (and as soon as it seems warranted). Whiplash, I don't think you really need to be out on the road with an experimental connection in your mod. It's your call; but if you don't even have a backup in the glovebox, maybe waiting a couple weeks or a month would make sense? (no? . . .. yes? .. . . .no?) Whatever suits your fancy.
