Isit normal for penny to slightly change resistnce depending on where juice control is set? Totslly closed it get 2.2 but when open 2.4?

if the mouthpiece touches the connections or the coil or budges the coil a little bit it is normal. Happened to me more than once when i am doing fat coils.

I just bought a Penelope used and it did not come with any wire or wick. I decided to try and use what I had which was 32 Kanthal and 3mm Hemp wick. I double braided the 32 kanthal together and did a four wind of the coil and wired it up without any resistance wire. It comes up with a low 1.2 ohm resistance, massive vapor and no burning taste at all. I am thinking that possibly the hemp wick is less likely to burn than cotton or silica? It does heat up a bit which I imagine would be reduced by adding non-resistance wire. Do you see any problem using this setup in the future. Next time I will add a few more winds to get the resistance up to 1.5 to 1.8 range. Have run three tanks at wattages as high as 15 watts with no problems, dry burns or any problems. Simply Awesome!

I use cotton wick and have good luck with it. Where did you get hemp at?
