Yea I just saw this...

One of mine was like that and 2 of my local friends had the same issue. When you start looking through the threads we all got them to work. There is probably a small burr in the nut that needs to be worked out with a couple pairs of pliers and some vaseline. Once you get past the burr once you are golden.

Yes, please check the threads for any metal shavings I might have missed cleaning off.

I tried to get everything but I might have missed a tiny little bit : /

As to why you ticket did not get my attention, I am looking into it, if I missed your ticket, I am extremely sorry as I am not perfect :(

No Problem I did Respond to the ticket if you can please look at it thank you.

if its the nut that you use to screw the positive wire. That nut can only be screwed in one direction. So if it doesn't screw in all the way then remove it and turn it around and screw it in again. then you should notice it will screw in all the way with the need of shredding your fingers.

I'm not telling you to do this as it may cause some damage if done incorrectly so proceed at your own risk. I'm telling you what my friend and I had to do with three of them.

First you have to make sure you are threading the nut in the correct way. In one direction it will thread on most of the way and if you flip it around it won't thread very far. The threads only go one way.

Once you know it's on correctly remove the post from the Penelope as you don't want to damage the ceramic. Vaseline the threads inside the nut and also on the post. Grab two pairs of pliers, grab the nut with one pair and the ring that the wire catches on with the other. Work the nut firmly back and forth and it should eventually go.

As I said proceed at your own risk. I'm only relating my own experience with three of them and how we got them to work. Once the nut goes once, it's really easy after. It's a suggestion that Imeo gave us because the nuts in question were so out of position I couldn't actually get the post out far enough of the bottom to make contact.

Next rebuild, I will give that a shot. Ty
