There are about 10 people on GG forum now fanning the flames against COV insinuating he be removed. I truly hope that it doesnt happen to them someday at their job. I wonder if they imagine how it would be to have their source of income removed.

However, for those who dont know - the greatest bashing of Imeo to ever occur in GG history was in the fall of 2012, This occurred on the UK forum and spilled over into this forum also. There was a mass exit of customers who ordered from Cam, people who sold all their GG's, people who vowed never to buy another GG again. That was their right to do so if they felt the need. No explaining in the world would change their minds. One thing you learned from what happened then, you found out who did stand by you.

Making a million friends is not a miracle. The miracle is to make a friend who will stand by you when millions are against

One thing though, for every person who left GG, Two more are there to take their place. This is how it is. There will always be complaining. For those reading this - it is your right to say what you think - JUST as is my right to say what I think.

I tried to find the thread that was started awhile ago on GG forum - one especially for Bruce - THANKING him for all the great things he has done. Couldnt find it, but found the one that Vaporologist started, entitled GRATITUDE - it was for Bruce, there have been others

I can appreciate what you are saying but I will say this, if I did this to my employer, I would be terminated on the spot. And as a former business owner, if an employee did this to me, I would terminate them on the spot as well. Taking and using money that isn't mine to satisfy my own needs, even if I plan on putting it back, is unacceptable. What line are you willing to cross?
PreOrder money is not the resellers money...it is not their equity. They can't do what they want with it even if it is just to borrow against it. In this case, it's not about the product delay, it's about the ethics and trust. This is business. The resellers aren't my friends. We are friendly but we are not friends. They don't know me. I don't know them. Let's face it, we only know about each other on the forum as much as one is willing to say on the forum and some people might be great story tellers, who knows. Now, if a reseller was a friend of mine before we did business and this situation happened, I would still tell them that this was wrong and try to help them see the error of their ways. I would like to think we would remain friends and I could help them thru the situation but I wouldn't give them anymore of my money. I'm not trying to put Bruce out of business but it is what it is and my opinion is, if you are willing to use preorder money for your personal needs then you can't be trusted with preorder money. If you asked me to hold onto $x number of dollars of your money to ensure that it would be there for you when you needed it, and then a month later came to me and said, okay, thanks for holding my money can I have it back now? And I couldn't give it back to you because I spent it, would you be upset? But hey, give me some time and I'll get the money back for you. That would be the last time you gave me money to hold for you ... no? It's basically the same thing. I'm not trying to be mean but as my dear mother would say, "you reap what you sow".

I defended Imeo on this situation because that was the right thing to do. He didn't take the preorder money and use it for his own needs. That part isn't his fault. Imeo has to do what Imeo has to do. That's his business. Not mine. But I will determine who I buy from in the future based on trust no matter how inconvenient or more expensive shipping.

I am not trying to be nasty, just truthful.

I could be wrong but i feel that the people who are upset are not upset with you they are voicing there frustration with one of your resellers. I AM UPSET! not that i am waiting for my new penny, i could care less, but it is upsetting that one of your resellers is potentially damaging your reputation and whipping the family into a frenzy! again...

Guys I think we're beating a dead horse here. What happened happened and nothing we say can change that, so let's move on.
If there is anything I believe may stop a similar situation in future is that Imeo instructs all sellers to pay for all pre-orders to him upon the closing date of the pre-order (or shortly after). This way Imeo has been paid for customers orders and when production is finished everything is forwarded to the sellers for delivery to customers.

This whole indignant rant is more than fanning the flames, its closer to tossing gun powder on a barn fire.
These people aren't ...... at anyone special, there ...... because they got bad service, & they feel like door mats.
It doesn't matter what happened, it matters that it happened. It doesn't matter who did it, it matters that no one made an effort to appreciate their concerns, but rather kept them in the dark anxiously waiting. Better to read about their anxieties than explain this BS to a whole bunch of folks who just want the latest & the greatest first before the rest of the world gets theirs. Those who waited got nothing but BS run around and that's not fair. Try not to forget ......... they paid first, shouldn't they receive first? Bruce nor Imeo didn't have to guess how many to order & make didn't have to risk their own money its all taken care of by us customers. We're the ones causing trouble? Really? We shouldn't throw powder kegs on this barn fire? Why not?

Well I finally got my Penelope V2 set up. I found it easier than the Ithaka but then I'm fairly new to all this re-buildable stuff. I filled it up with Goose Juice and bingo, off we go. I have to say I like the adjustable mouthpiece a lot. I just got, and set up, an RDA also and the Penelope has a much better draw. Granted I need to mess about with the air flow on the RDA more but so far...

I've got a JustGG but I'm using a Provari at the moment for "secrecy" reasons and it's just fine.
