Almost a week with my PV2, I must be on my 3rd build already. I like it lot, All I've been vaping on.
I was worried if it would breath on my Temon and it does fine, But I need a 17mm mod...hint hint.

Couple questions.
How many turns on the juice valve do you guys recommend? I've been around 3 or 4 with a heavy vg and 3ml wick.
How often you average changing coils? My guess is 3 or 4 days with steady vaping?

Ody expansion kit is on my list :)

thanks

I learn to use the same coil for 2 to 3 weeks, and now I want it to last one month.
No single change in flavor!!!
The kantal can hold much longer.
And silica is glass so the same.
What happen is usually to much liquid and over heat cos' some carmelization like that make the wick heavy.
That can be avoided.
If you use thiner wick,so the liquid can flow up the channel freely, and don't over opening juice control
( most common mistake) then no need to heat over fluded coil.

I open my juice contro half turn only to almost 3/4 of a turn.
No need for more.
If it's not wick this way:your wick is to thick!!!
Remember what a small hole we have in cartos after we punch them bigger.

Allmost a full turn give u 2 like that on Penelope and 4 on Ithaka.

Know when I change the coils, mostly it with no reason, just cos' I decide that the time is enough,
And not becous juice taste not good, though some time it can happen if all above were not make correctly.
When I change my coil the taste and vape better then new one I'll put later.
Even if taste of juice gone heavy things can get better only by closing the MP and vaping on it close
For a wile.
Also some time I change mods and coming to this one hour or two later things get much better and we r back in business again,
With the same atty.

I learn all this here on forum bit by bit with adding my expiriences and it works great for me.

I haven't change my wick on my Ithaka for at least 2 months now.. After every 2 tanks I dry burn the wick, the wick goes back to being white again and it wicks better as all the gunk is dry burned off.. ;)

It still taste, wick & vapours as if it was new..;)

I also dry burn if I want to change the flavours too, works a treat..

That is the point - it is in stock and you can buy a Penelope V2 for the normal cost, which is great. If you really want that special number you can have it at the sellers price. Nothing to worry about, is it?
I mean, unless you are really behind a number engraved on a piece of metal - Penelope #0001 is not different from Penelope #1182 (apart from the number of course) but its the same batch, same material, same process, same vape - just a different price for collectors...

manny first thx for your reply !

there is nothing to worry about - this price isn´t real until someone will pay it !
i find it kind of curious , thats why i am posting it here.
everybody shall do what he wants with his stuff, i don´t know why, but it´s making me sad to see that it is allways about money. sorry but 150 % is way to much in my mind...

Having grown tired of cutting thin slithers of selotape to cover the holes on the V2's 510 connector to achieve a tighter draw and allow the AC on my mods to work correctly I decided to tackle the problem from the inside rather than the outside. I remembered adding a second o-ring to the V1 to try and stop a bit of flooding but all it did was cut off the air to the 510 completly but seeing as the V2draws a lot of air straight up the centre pin I thought I'd give this a go. I've placed an o-ring I had from the V1 on the grove just above the brass connector sealing the two holes in the 510 completly. This works great on the Nemesis allowing full use of the mods AC but doesn't work on the PAPS or any of my other mods without AC..

Ok, so, I didn't want to start a battle of opinions on the issue of Penny V2 breathing or not on flat top mods.
I also noticed several posts were removed and accessed them via google cache, just to read what happened; censorship is no good guys. If Yankee mantains his Penny V2 breathes on flat top mods, then I trust him, and the two clips he posted proved it.
I mean: either it's breathing, or it's not. I would be ready to bet it does.

I'm assuming you're talking about the air slots in the bottom of V2 making air come in from the sides....While I have the V2, I can not use it until I get the bottom pin replaced, so I comment on the performance. But this came in the mail for me today: Tank Air Flow Controller And using it with the V1, it tightened up the draw of the air. On the V1 the air comes from the center...but it does that on V2 as well. The difference is that the V1 doesn't have the bottom air slots.

Thanks, but I really don't want to add stuff on top of the provari, I like to keep my PVs as simple as possible.

Anyway:

- I already posted pictures about the damaged mouthpiece and ok, nice, we should get traditional ones. Any news on this?
- New issue:

Wt6tdLpl.jpg

This did not happen trying to align the center post or whatsoever, this happened just screwing it on the provari...
I was unmounting it now to rebuild it and this is the new surprise. Not happy, really not. By the way, this adjustable pin is not working for me anyway. Ithaka's pin really adjusts itself on the mod, this does not, I just learned to let it stick out just 1mm and then on provari Penelope V2 sits flush, otherwise the pin will stop rotating and I won't have Penny sitting flush on the mod. Yes, it is lubed.

Penelope V2 has been out since a while now, and we have a couple of issues here, and this thing here is 99 €.
Of course some issues can be solved (new one piece mouthpiece, new pin?), but it's getting expensive, I'd dare to say.

Did this yesterday, just a try and it worked, googled the thread adding page number at the end and then read the cache.
I suppose I was able to read them because the cache copy was generated before the posts were deleted. Don't know how long this will be possible.

Update: one wing of the adjustable pin broke just now.
What really bothers me now is that I can't even sell this for an acceptable price to regain some money - I have a damaged mouthpiece and a broken pin. Lucky if I can make 50 € out of it.
Happy new year everybody!

EDIT: still available in google cache, it dates back to 28/12/2013.

Lo zio, this AD post was bended before you put it on provari. Its a mistake of the man that assembles it (me or vasilis). It doesnt bend if you put it on your mod.
Anyway, I will ask vasilis to have those pins available for anyone and for free too. Every person will be able to have up to 3 of them

No, it was not bent before, I'm pretty sure about that, believe me.
It's very kind from you to allow every customer to have three pins, my fear though is that the same issue will show up again if the pins stay the same. Didn't you plan, at some time, to make pins with shorter legs? Maybe I will try to use it without pin at all, as the V1.
And I would also like to ask: plans about the one piece mouthpiece? :D:

By the way: I find it a nice decision to make the deleted posts available to read in a separate thread, there's interesting info over there. I checked my base and the slots seem to be in the right position, although the holes are not completely hollow, some metal residues are still there and partially occlude them; nothing that can't be fixed, I would say (dremel?).
