legs can be shorter without sacrifying air intake yankee. We need at least a 2mm hole when now we have 4mm hole there. I will also try SS pins to see how they work
Here is the problem. The 510 hole has to stay the same. It's a 510. If the air intake is going to be made bigger, you're going to sacrifice somewhere. Remove more metal to open the hole, create large slots to let air in, weaken the part.
If you want it sturdier, you have to leave more metal on. That would decrease the air hole since you can't go outward.

I was thinking someone could corner this market by making a more sturdier pin for the V2. As for what kind of metal? I don't know what would work best. It would have to be a conductive metal, but brass and silver and nickel are all soft metals. Prone to breaking, especially with parts that small.

Penelope on justGG gives you the ability to adjust the air Lo Zio. If you cant do it on other mods, means that the connector on other mods is not really flat
Interesting, thanks. I do not own a JustGG, but I would like to one day, the look is just beautiful.
So actually it's not possible to prevent Penelope V2 from breathing from the sides and controlling air exclusively with Just GG? I suppose this would work with the V1, right?

BTW, looking at Bo's close up picture it's quite obvious that his air hole on the base is not what it should be. As Imeo said it could well be an issue with the CNC cutting head.
Here is a picture of mine and you can clearly see that the air hole is well above the base level and therefor it cannot take air in if perfectly flush mounted on a flat top.
