I thought Penelope v2 is for Proteus. If Proteus will not have AC control then how can you make air adjustments without Penny AC tip?

Ther is no reason for that Electra??? There is a hole int 510 lid center post!
maybe your center post is in the 510 lid is close with somthing???
Proteus will have air control as I understand from the latest posts on the dripper thread If I'm correct.

Crap crap crap. I absolutely must have the AC tip, I like a tight draw, and without it, it really is all about lung hitters.
I can always trade it to a lung hitter for another Ithaka. I knew there must be some reason fate had me order an extra Ithaka SS window by accident.
You know Kata this tight draw is very subjective in relativ thing.
If your draw come out with dens vapor it may look tighter then it actualy is.
The Penelopy perform great with regular DT on JGG while using the JGG AC.
Give it a try,you may like it better.
That's the only way I use it.
GG devices are made for eachother,using Pene on other device...well
There is not realy point to go further,look what havoc fall when heaven born
Try to bland with human ones.

Pene will shine for you better on the JGG.
You will vape like a Titan.
I personally like the P1 better don't get me wrong I like them both but the vape is different and for some reason I just couldn't get a good vape out of the P2 :/

I am working on it scoo. But I cant make it work with existing penelope. I have to make a new base for it
It sure as so dspin,but kata wanted some tighter draw from his v2.
So how v1 work on other device is not the issue.
Many of us have v2's only,with 2mm center post hole.
So if one want to use his v2 with a tighter draw without AC tip,other device then GG
Want be as flexible,for the tighter draw.

Guys, please don't take my comments the wrong way, but the biggest selling point for me with the v2 Penny was the AC design. Even on Proteus, I would rather use the Penny AC. Perhaps I'm being spoiled.
After chatting with someone else with a v2, I am utterly convinced that this is simply an AC tip or other piece that is slightly off-spec. Easy problem, easy fix. I might get my hands on another v2 that doe not exhibit this behavior, and swap out parts to identify the offending piece.
Sorry to have taken up so much of this thread, but I'm eager to make this work, I really want a smaller Ithaka with what I consider to be the coolest AC control mechanism I've seen on an atty.

Captain log experiments on new frontiers:
Been busy for you guys, wanted to try Pene v2 with new setup,and end week polish routin,
And pictures of my partsy parts.
So came up early (my free day) and got to "GG hobby work".
Took Pene v2 out, coil making tools and here we go:
Ready made guru wire 1.5 ohm 32 as I'm gonna use cotton on this one!
Yap cotton with R and NR crazy me.
Now I lap the ready wire on paper clip 1.5mm connect R and NR to center post and put it on JGG,
With AR fully open as I gonna relay for dear kata only on original AC tip.
After I connect I took the paper clip out and start fire the coil to make it loos it's flexibility.
Then with a manicure pincer I tight the wraps close to each other,keep do so until
Coils laps stay close to eachother.
Then I put cotton very very very very gently.
That's tricky and better not to rush on this.
Cut cotton at the channels.
Now I fill the tank with Deadly Sin 12mg 50/50 bland.
Put the original AC tip with the 2 original O rings.
Wel
It's vape like a champ.
No fake air!!!! None at all.
The theory on small o rings that let air inside and not smooth mouthpiece tube were
Simply not correct!
Though they were made in very early stage before we know and got experiment with the Pene v2.
Your welcome all I do, to try for yourself.
I already explained what the so called fake air is (just a diffrent bland of vapor per free air).
Now back to vaping:
There is not at all over heat of the mouthpiece not at all,and that's with the AC tip.
I figure only now what happen to some,and I try to explain that the best as I can:
The Pene V2 is just more sensitive to wick issue that's all.
Becouse of the thin walls of the mouthpiece,the tiny problem with wick or
Over firing or over heat in the coil become just more noticeable.
If you remember all 510 atty's have the same becose they have almost same walls measurements.
the cotton eliminated all this.
1)It's always saturated and there for the atty chamber don't over heat as with silica.
2)There is no fake air as the the coil produce more dens of a vapor,ya you here correct
no fake air at all!!!
3)it's not take the heat of the vapor at all now!!! Ya because the atty run cooler I
Can fire the device longer with ease and get the plums of full dens warm vapor though not worm as Ithaka,
But very close.
4) for those look for smaller Ithaka you already have it,if you wiling to put a little of your time

Cotton better then the ribbons IMHO.
Now all my Pene V2 are back with the Original AC tip and with the original o rings on it
So it's more comfy to control it this way,and it's work just great no need to look for

Is there any projections on when the heavier adjustable brass connector is going to be in to Esmoke? I have a full cart waiting to check out but I want to make sure to grab one of these..

I read somewhere that was 3 of the original design. i would prefer the new heavier design if possible. I will send him an email to see when he expects the new ones.
Kata only thing you need to do is meetup with me. We in NY I have 3 v2 Penelope if its an issue Ill trade you one of mine. Ill deal with imeo later if its a design issue. I have no worries since i have 3 of them.
Thanks, Bish! I'm 99.9% sure it's not a design issue, others do not experience this. This is the nature of CNC machining, a few pieces will come out off. I've had it happen with lots of other brands - nothing to cry about. I'm just very happy almost nobody is experiencing this.
Im offering my services to rectify this issue you are having. I take it you no longer have any issues.
Give me a week, if I can't figure it out by then, I'll PM you and we can perhaps set something up for the following weekend. I'll buy you brunch, and we can have a Penny day!
