I for example dont need cloners to force me make something better because I force myself Its. You may know this because without cloners I made almost everything new in this market the last 5 years. Cloners just made me feel pitty because I see people buying those clones

This is very old story,but never the less it happened for a very long time.
Pepole can make a change if they don't buy,but this is also somthing never to happen.
The watch industeries was never able to stop clones even with copyrights protaction.
So we cannot control what pepole will buy when they don't have the ability to buy anything better.
It's frustrating but that what it always was.
There are more fake Rolex out there then real ones.
But you can count on most good pepole who can buy,to stay your customers and
Not go to cloners alternative .
It's like Bryson or Rolex watch or some other originals they have there clients
And those clients are loyal and and those loyally will never go to cloners.
If they don't have Rolex they will buy Omega,or Bentley(Bryson).
ECF don't let full clone in classified but cloner have youtube and reviewers and other
Way of contacting pepole and media and e shops.
So in the end of the day it's comming only to adeucation and personal economy capabilities.
You have us and I wish you will have more of us and I do think it will happen as vapers grow
In quantities GG will grow in members it natural way of things.

Don't know about a solution for the issue as a whole. What I have noticed is that most of the people who own clones don't really understand the quality of the products being put out there by the manufacturer. Nor do they have an appreciation for the innovative new ideas coming from these designers. I have known two people closely who owned clones and after given a little information about the actual products have gone and bought the real version. I honestly HATE clones, it takes away so much from intellectual property of the original architect. Sadly though there will always be those who can appreciate something for what it truly is, therefore will not being willing to fork out the price tag for it. Also there will always be someone out there looking to make a quick buck of someone else. Hopefully people will realize the work gone into these products and show some appreciation for what they are, and naturally put these cloners out of business with their inferior products. Sadly I doubt this will happen, but it never hurts to hope for the best.

But I digress, I can't wait for the penny V2. Also to see what is next, I think its an update to the Ithaka?

We cant really make a second run xtreme because copiers will copy it before my second run. Same happened with Ithaka and I still have stock of it. Not big but enough to prevent me of making new GG things

I think second run is very important and a must thing to do,
even if cloners will copy it already.
there are always new comers to GG that want to buy the original and not the clone!

there are people who want after time one or two more, and clone is not an option
for them.
maybe to cut losses second run may need to be higher in price?? I don't know.

but some kind of stock should always be for the last devices.
in the moment there wont be stock, the market is left for the cloners or other makers.
and this is not good IMHO.

thanks to this stock I was able to orders more Ithaka lol as I figure after I use them that I needed more.
if there was no Ithaka on stock I would not go to cloners but I would have to
go to other originals and I don't wont that.

the last design should be always on stock.
if some one order 2 JGG, and after one month or two he or his girl or his friend
want one they should be able to get one.
I only saying this on the last designs.

Ithaka and JGG should be in stock until something better will come.

Just wonder if engravings would stall them? I mean like whole things been engraves...
Cos mostly i see are clones with simple engraving or none.

And maybe a ban on clones been sold in forums.

I wasn`t vaping for more than a couple of months when I could get hold of an ithaka. I used it on a provari while all the time waiting for a GGTS. I couldn`t find one only for 300$. It shouldn`t have taken that much longer for JustGG to come out or me too I would have bought a clone. What I mean is that IMHO if GG stuff would always be available I think people would buy less copies

TBH I would rather wait, than buy a clone. The problem is, that you will know its a clone. therefor the desire to have the original increases. therefor the cash spent on the clone could have been used to buy the original when available.

Reason I say this is that I used to be into restoring old school BMX's (Hutch, SKYWAY, PK etc) parts are hard to get hold and expensive, sometimes copy parts would come out from Japan, people would buy them and put them on an all original bike, this used to ruin the build so they would then take them of and just pay for the write part, as they knew it was a copy part. Clone's of any product only increase the urge for the original item. There is no satisfaction from a clone.

Imeo has made the big time. I'm thinking he needs infrastructure to help him determine some strategies to deal with his products & help him with his business. He's doing a fine job getting new products out in a timely manner and adjusting to a much larger demand. Those new products combined with previous successful items create even more demands on his dwindling time and energy. Maybe its time for Imeo to share some of his responsibilities with some management personnel.

now i have almost all newer stuff iatty ody1 ody2 justgg ggts and i have only gg items now and i will not buy somethink diverent but i now now what i have to do to get your stuff new peopel dont now new peopel dont pay 160 and never seen the produckt and wait more then one mohnts to get it you have at first build trust

you have to build trust to gg newbies
you can do it easy
have one compleat mod every time avibial
do a ody with a 18650 mod as one unit and sell this for a reasonable price
have it all the time on stock and build also new thinks the best in preasales
after some one by one mod from you belive they like to have more
with this strategie you can have a good buisines and let the cloners clon what tey want

and let take your resellers take old stuff out from the webside only new thinks on ther pleace

Actually, not only do they cancel the Classified post, I'm pretty sure they issue a suspension of the account. Every time I see someone with a canceled counterfeit classified, i notice they haven't posted in a few days as well. I assume they have been given a time out from ECF to think about what they've done.

There's a new Vape store in Manhattan. It is one of only two. I was going to go and try out some of the juices they carry, until I read they carry branded clones. Why would you sell Five Pawns, one of the priciest juices out there, and then sell cheap knock-off mods? Ridiculous.

to my opinion is very easy to stop them Yankee. Forums just check what a new store sells. Its not a huge job, just a 5 mins job. Not everyday vaping stores come up. Also they will not allow anyone posting pics of a clone.
Its a very easy job, they just have to start doing this

That's certainly a start. But Imeo, you and I both know that the forum will chase that user away, and another with a different name will come along and register and start the cycle all over again. The forum owners/moderators would spend a good portion of time managing this blacklist.

Another problem is how many forums there are. Where one forum may get the stones or manpower to manage this, other forums may say "Not worth our time policing it." Unless all are onboard, this will not get a lot of traction.

Understand, I would LOVE for this to get under control. I hate the cloners - ESPECIALLY those that go so far as to put the damn logo on there as well as any other markings. The sad part, cloning has become to vaping what spam has become to emails. Stopping can be a full time job.

I am too happy about the stock fright. As I have said in a previous post, we finally will have stock of atomizer (Ithaka) and battery holder (justGG) and thats a really good thing. Ithakas leave fast and in a while I will not have them, but I cant keep stock for ever.

I believe that clones must be stopped but for some reason they will not as I see it. Its like when police can totally stop thiefs or drug dealers but for some reason they dont do it

Imeo I don't mean to disagree but I hope you do make another batch even if by pre order. I understand there are Ithaka's in stock but to me this is a good thing. This is the first time in a long time in GG history where I can show someone a GG product and actually tell them where they can get it if they want one and I personally think that is a good thing. Also given the number of Ithaka's made there is bound to be a slowdown of the rush buying eventually.

I know the coppiers thing is a bad situation. But please don't let that stop you from making multiple runs of your great products. Every time you say you are only going to make 1 run of something or discontinue it it saddens me a bit inside because it means from then on any time a new Vaper or a new person to GG sees something and wants to know what it is we have to tell them that is a GG xxx but it is discontinued so you only chance of ever having one is buy buying it off the classys or buying a inferior replica.

exactly my dear. We have lost vaping purposes (that is to keep us healthy), and we vape anything those days.

I wish they'd take the next step and ban all discussion of/links to counterfeits. That would dry up a lot of the cloners business.


Edit: And here's an example of why they need to get it off their forums IMO. People are going to get sick/hurt from this crap coming out of China. Here's an example of cloning gone bad.

if shops that sell clones get banned then the user that wants to b uy clonbe has to ask China directly. (If he founds the right store). Then he has to wait for 1 month to receive the unit and also take the risk of loosing the mod via post office.

I say this because now cloners sell their products with full security that stores gives to their customers. Is this right? If a customer wants to buy fake then he also has to take a risk and also not have a customer service but only from China.

I agree Its but my mind goes quicker than selling my products. I mean that I cant keep stock of a GG product when I have already thought the next GG project. I cant release new products before selling my stock. And I say this because I dont make one model per year like car companies, I make 2-3 models in a year. So I always have to sell GG stuff in less than 3 months.
