Ok. I'm confused. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of Penelope. If we go to straighten that post we are in effect bending against the resistance if the housing where the rebuildable part fits the base. Isn't this going to bend the post? Next time that post will have to be bent again to counter the first bend?

I didnt understand yankee. But its the same proccedure as we do on Ithaka. The only difference is that we put all the screwdriver inside the center post as I shaw you on video. And we do this only if the pole isnt sitting straight. Not that it matters if it isnt sitting straight but anyway.

its one time alignment yankee.

The post goes off sometimes because only ceramic keeps it straight and in some penelopes it comes off. We didnt have this issue on Ody that its the same build because center post sits on ceramic housing and not on the tail of ceramic housing. But with Ody we didnt have the holes where liquid escapes to avoid overflooding.

Yankee as Imeo said, in Ody and old Penny, the post grabs the housing from 2 wide surfaces, however in Ithaka and new Penny, the lower part is grabbed by the plastic on the edge of the tail. the plastic would slide since the tails contacts it with a small surface. In Ithaka I learned to center the plastic on the tail and give a very tight screwing.

Very interesting. It will be a partially new learning curve with the Penelope V2.

With the V1, I replaced the center bottom post rubber washer with a bigger one, that way no juice will leak out. The only way for juice to leak out of my V1 is through the center post (not the sides of the center post). If the wick is not stable and holding the juice, and/or the tank pressure isn't stabilized the juice will go through the center air hole post.

Ok. Now I see what is being talked about. Thanks for point that specifically.

Not at all Sad. The only you have to do is to align one time the center post and thats it. (All of Penelopes at 99% per cent are ok because I personally assembled the rebuildable part). So this video is made to show you what you have to do in case you unscrew the center post and then screw it again for some reason
